Hehe adorable! My basset hound who is also named Fred (he is almost all black) has burst of energy like that, and he also likes playing a game on our deck where I'll jump up and leap toward him, and then he'll run off to some other part of the deck while barking, and then I'll do it again and he'll run off to some other part of the deck while our other basset hound (Ruby) gets very jealous and tries to tackle him. Its very fun to watch.
Bassets have been in my family for over 40 years, but this moment with Fred might top them all...and that is saying something!
