I have the Fidelio L1. I never ever cared about Philips before and I didn't even know they make headphones, but the L1 is the most surprisingly amazing headphone I experienced in all my Head-Fi life! The well-rounded and uncolored sound, incredible bass performance and exceptional build quality is a sure winner. Well done, Philips!
@IgnisInCaelum That is a really great idea for a video. Tyll was featured in a couple of episodes of Home Theater Geeks with Scott Wilkinson which was a good listen.
Would have liked to hear some number specs on the headphones, did Jennifer not have specs lists handy? :P Anyway, thanks for doing this sneak preview, even though it was a bit quick and light on info.
@skech001 Obviously you haven't tried any of them! Good luck finding more comfortable or better sounding headphones at these prices. Philips is a huge electronics company with a long heritage in audio. They invented the compact cassette and co-developped the compact disc (with Sony). In the US, they used brand names like Magnavox, Sylvania and Marantz. It seems they're now trying to cut out a niche for themselves in headphones by offering exceptional value for money.

Jude and Tyll both runnin' around, slummin' it. I guess I can't blame Jude if Jen suckered him into that interview, though.
Suggestion for next videos: Jude interviews Tyll, Tyll interviews Jude :D

....they are kidding with those prices right?
I think the head fi community is the last group of people that phillips should be trying to sell their overpriced sub par quality headphones to....
