Anastasia was a duchess of Russia with three other sisters and a brother. She probably didn't escape the shooting of her family though. It's more likely she got away and then died because of her wounds, or somebody found her and killed her.

anastasia is generally based on facts..she was a real person. she was tzar nicholas the 2nds daughter in russia. and the family got killed, apart from her, she escaped. so the story of anastasia was about a woman (i dont know if shes the queen though, or just someone important and i dont think shes from russia, but who was closely related to them) but shes trying to find the real anastasia, and loads of imposters are pretending to be her. so she loses hope. thats basically it xx, hope this helps

Actually, Anastasia didn't escape. Her bones were founds yards away from the burial site of her family's bones a couple of years ago. I remember reading about it.

as far as I remember, Anastasia suffered from amnesia but there was no reason given. it is possible that she lost her memories while she was escaping when Rasputin attacked the palace - as I recall she tripped and lost consciousness after falling. I am not 100% sure though because I've seen the movie for the last time about a year ago.

I disagree with all of you saying that the video is saying Anastasia is a Disney movie, because in fact, it is not.

The title says "Disney/Anastasia" and I would like to point out the slash. It doesn't say "Disney Anastasia".

Also, in the description it says "Disney AND Anastasia, and that obviously means that it is a mix of various Disney movies INCLUDING the 20th Century Fox Movie, Anastasia.

Just think about this reasoning if it's really that big of a deal to all of you.

Great comment..I heard a storie that disney went broke and was taken over.. during the take over process they continued to make movies with the contributing bidders together this is why some of the videos look like classic walt disney..It was offically taken over by pixar this is why the new videos have the lamp theme big lamp little lamp..I have my old favorites but the new ones also rock
