@FletcherHabit There is nothing abnormal about circumcision, nor is there anything abnormal about leaving a child uncircumcised. Putting a name like "genital mutilation" just makes it sound barbaric because it has the word mutilation. In what way is is mutilation? What do you actually think is wrong with it? Do you think it hurts the baby? Or that they ever endangered by it? What is your problem?

Because it has positive effects with lowering rates of contraction of STIs - I'd think any parents would do every last possible thing to prevent their child from contracting something like HIV, especially if it does not harm or hurt the baby, WHICH circumcision does not. Your only argument so far has been "you're born with it" - evolution happens over a long period of time. Humans no longer have the necessity for a foreskin, just like we have little use for the appendix.
