  • gringonesse - Your a moron, get a life and go comment on Rebecca Blacks videos.

  • Gotta be the most technologically advanced sled Ive ever seen.

  • Good skills that man

  • Is this YF-16 ?

  • fuck he dind't explode :o

  • Very nice!

  • Job well done :D

  • Didn't know about one in CA...But if you check the background you will see Lake Worth which is at the approach end of Rwy 17, also, there is a "D" model B-52 parked on the ramp.

  • Well, one thing is for certain. You have to be either brilliant or stupid to try and crash land an F16. They have ejection seats for a reason. Without power, they fall like a brick with the gracefulness of a drowning pig. Props to the pilot for succeeding.

  • ΧΕΡΑΣ!!!!

  • And then the pilot walked out and put on sunglasses while the jet exploded in the background.

  • na und

  • Like a boss

  • Thats not a crash, thats a fukken badass landing.

  • Ahh, yes, the old lawn dart routine. Haven't seen this one in a while.

  • OUR PILOTS ARE JUST THAT GOOD.

  • @82ndairborne100 Yes, they do this frequently. Possibly US has the highest percentage of aviation accidents. So they have probably a different training lol

  • @Kujo226 Well i mean't that they can land a plane like that. And since we have ALLOT of planes we have ALLOT of crashes, you see how that works?

  • @82ndairborne100 A LOT......A LOT...see how that works?

  • F12 stop crashing

  • worst pilot ever!

  • @TheKucingnguphil One of best pilot ever- Can you land army plane without wheels or fuel without crashing- he can do it perfectly

  • Wow...hats off to pilot.

  • is this the video where the 'lawn dart' nick name came from?

  • Hell of a pilot, hell of a plane

  • @Biscuit1971 - Back then they did. It was a topic of discussion for this flight. They even readied an alert tanker (KC-135) to go up and refuel the F-16 in hopes of getting more time to fix the problem. Foaming the runway was never really effective in any aircraft accident that I know of. Using foam after an aircraft lands to extinguish a fire is effective when used properly.

  • Nice! You can see how the flight control computers and hydraulics are still working. The elevator moves up and down fast, trying to stabilize the plane.

  • @MrLowAltitude Of course they do, why shouldn't they?

  • @theeltea I don't know. Maybe due to an engine flameout during the crash landing. No engine means no hydraulic pressure... I just found it interesting how you can see the computers trying to stabilize the plane thinking it's still in flight.

  • @ MisekD2 - Less chance of a fire. Landing on the runway would have caused sparks and a possible fire, even if they had used foam.

  • @silverdeer007 Im an AIr Force Crash Firefighter.... we dont foam runways anymore..

  • Great pilot. Thanks!

  • que buen aterrizaje de emergencia

  • Well done, but the grass stains are NEVER going to come out

  • great job!!!

  • and 26 seconds later i have ALOT more respekt for the F16...

btw one hell of a pilot............

  • I can just imagine some poor guy sitting in it when it finally comes to a rest and some annoying ladies voice comes on "You have arrived".

  • Im in the fail part of youtube aren I...

  • Nice. Got some air at 0:07

  • Is the F16 so old that the video is in black and wite?

  • @swissairflying yup, mid 70's. Pretty old.

  • Anybody else waiting for the plane to explode after a complete stop?

  • 1975 but I really don't remember what month

  • Atleast the canopy works just fine

  • awesome landing !!!

  • k really i wanna try a crash landing, dont seem too bad

  • pilot brave and wild

  • this is how they got the idea to make EDFs wheelless

  • textbook crash landing. good job pilot!

  • It's way easier to land it without wheel uh?? :)))))

  • I remember this crash, it happened at Carswell AFB Texas. I was the tower controller who was talking to the pilot at the time. Neal Anderson was the test pilot and the rear gear stuck in the wheel well after a touch and go. No injuries, the wooden "sparrow" missiles were damaged and the plane had cosmetic damage more that real physical damage. BTW: It was the first big "media" day for the F-16

  • @silverdeer007 WERE YOU FUCK!

  • @silverdeer007 what year was that sir ?

  • @silverdeer007 Why he didnt use landing strip for touch down? Should be less "bumpy" therefore safer for both plane and pilot.

  • @MisekD2 Risk of a fire.

  • @silverdeer007 how long ago was this?

  • @silverdeer007 Wow, because I remember this happening in Sacramento CA...McCellan AFB...Gear did stick...and the pilot did walk away. It took several years to rebuild it. GD wrote it off, and the depot guys worked on it on their spare time.

  • @silverdeer007 That´s not true. I was the controller. Go away, fucking troll!

  • This isn't the military's plane. It's a General Dynamics prototype. And regardless of whether this was a test or demonstration or a true gear malfunction, that's one talented pilot!

  • This is the best crash landing ever. This pilot is just brilliant.

  • grass is a great landing pad lol

  • is that an NSX? lol

  • this man can be lucky!! he almost lost his life!

  • Isent this an test crash landing?

  • @naaruu111 yeah the military takes their planes and crashes them for practice

  • some damn good piloting

  • ooh nice landing!!!
