I'm very curious about something. Other apes are knuckle walkers or fist walkers on the ground, but humans and gibbons are bipedal. When humans are too young to walk bipedally, they are palm walkers like monkeys. When this baby gibbon was even younger, did he crawl around on his palms or knuckles? Or was he always able to stand up? Or did you have to carry him until he could walk?

A sweet baby gibbon will grow up to be stronger than you, and it cannot be confined to a house; it's disastrous to its health, physical and mental.

I'm torn. Close up, and from the sounds he makes, he's adorable. But I recoiled in abject terror when I saw him run down the hall.
