  • Prolly paid a lot of money for that little worthless machine

  • also...doing the loading from the "dirty" side safes you a lot of clean up...

In general , criteria for buying any mini skid steer should not be determined by its capability to reach high (buy a lower dumptrailer) but rather the amount of work you can sell where no full size skid steer can go witout doing all that destruction and rebuilding fences...

  • had mine for 4 years now and have never dumped into a truck...on my dump trailer I take out the 2"x12" sidebooards and make myself a ramp (from soil or sand with a rubber mat on it). Also loading from a high curb side helps. My trailer bed sits 2.5 ft high so when you buy a trailer think before you buy...a trick to load....towards the end load some soil near the side wall then punch down and curl your bucket ..makes the centre mound move to the other side and safes you to load from the street ...

  • Bobcat makes a quality skidsteer but with the minis I'd probably have to go with toro or Vermeer

  • looking for something small that will load both of those...looks like i might have to buy a mid-skid.

  • based on what i am seeing right now...these won't load into a 1 ton with a standard bed...let alone a tandem axle dump trailer...right?

  • @tidalturfdotcom Not really sure. I would think the bucket would hit the inside of the box of a half ton when you dump it. Remember, the higher you raise your arms the shorter your reach.

  • HAHA! Dan looks like he's ready to go on a safari!
