    Be the revolution!!!

...By not being an illiterate commercial spammer on youtube on channels that have nothing to do with whatever it is you're selling!!!

    Be the revolution!!!

  • nice setup !!

  • Fucking sickness.....nice work man !

  • are you triggering all of the sounds from Ableton?

  • your second patch of drums was better than the first one.

  • reminds me of photek 1998...keep it up.

  • What is that module you are using on your right side?

  • sweet jamz....wanting more

  • Fucking incredible! YOU NEED MORE JUNGLE DRUMMING VIDS

  • In battery how do you make it so when a cell is triggered it is in sync with the tempo like to the 16th of the bpm ....

  • Hey,

I have a roland vdrum kit that i am trying to get to talk to ableton live. i have a firepod as my digital interface but dont know how to use the vdrums as a midi component in ableton live 7. any help you can offer would be reaaally appreciated b/c i have beenm trying to figure this out for like a year now. please help!!!!! anyone!!!!!

  • try upload it again...

  • Too bad about the sync thing, but this is sick.

  • jak jenom dela ze hraje :D:D:D:D:D

  • I don't know, the hands don't match the beats.

  • the sounds off sync. you can hear the sticks click together at the start when he's not even moving them too.

  • yeah, not sure when the sync issue started. It's been fine until recently - maybe some updated ytube codec or something.

  • nice playing ,can you tell what equipment you are using and how you have cónnected it .The background rythm where do you get these from .

  • MAKE MORE shit like this. This is my favorite of your sets and its only 59 sec. I NEED MORE!

  • siik!!!

  • come check out my song i posted. im not sure if its breakcore or not...its way intense tho. "A Machine Suicide" i made a video to it.

  • so much !!!!

  • wicked...nuttah

  • OMG im getting one this weekend just by watching the first couple seconds of this video. I can totally incorporate those tones into my live preformance. This is fun to listen to.

  • Are there any rock groups that perform with these machines live? Coldplay has a video on youtube (god put a smile on your face tokyo 2009) and the drummer is using one. So, do you know of anyone else?

  • usefull for making Sequences active, also effects or midi triggers, ive seen alot of those in concerts.

  • is the suite worth the money or should I just go with normal live?

  • Dope!!!!

  • Not bad at all!!

Check my new track! "Get get down" :p

I did it with Ableton live and some VSTI

  • nice dude, shit got tech for a minute once you kicked in the 2nd kit!

  • Sup?

The control Pad's sequel, the "Performance Pad" is available to me for the same price. I'm interested in using it with Ableton too. The thing is the Performance Pad only has a MIDI OUT (no midi in/through). Do you reckon the Midi Out is the only thing you really need to use with Ableton ? Or do you need that 'Midi in' and 'through' to be able to do that stuff ?

  • out of sync so much!! Has Anybody it with good sync?

  • nice!! ;)

  • perfect.

  • Wonderful! Great!

  • Nice one...

  • very good indeed! forward thinking music production..

  • yes...ok...but,

if the video is out of sinc, i think, especially in a music video, that it has to be re-done.

mainly with a mac book pro.

  • 5* dfgdfg dfgf

  • cool!!!

  • fine drumin

  • master!!!

  • Wow! Amazing drumming!

  • A perfect zen-like balance between the digital loop/sample realm and the live/organic realm. Well done. The lines are blurring.

  • Good stuff! Which Battery is this? The original?

    -mikey

  • Nice drumming! I have the same hat too! :)

  • sick shit

jus wanna ask u a few question before i go to the store and get it,

if i use it with my battery live or logic, will it completely turn into a assignable midi drum pad?

can u set the mapping ? layout ?

how many custom presets i can save?

    cheeers

  • Where can I buy a drummer like You ;-)

  • Very cool. nice playing.

    peace

  • this is so inspiring!

  • very slick... nice job

  • awesome :) I wish I could have those type of drum pads !

    Well done man.

  • i love these drum pads should be the new phenomenon after turntables+mixer

  • no they shuldnt replace turntables and mixer!! Vinyl all da way!!

  • is the foot spd-20 foot pedal velocity responsive? recently, i hooked up my old yamaha pedal (which has been used for sustaining piano sounds :) to my USB MIDI controller from BEHRINGER, and i made it send midiNoteOn and midiNoteOff via MIDI-OX - but i found it useless without velocity.

    Anyway - You're sick. Fav.

  • yep. it's got velocity. might have to adjust the vel sensitivity on your receiving device.

    -kamoni

  • you got the style!!

  • I hope your neighbours lvoe you :P

  • Kamoni, you're an awesome drummer — so kewl to see these samples played live, your timing is precise but has enough swing to give funk to what might otherwise be a mechanical groove!

  • sick guy

  • thats tight

  • Hey cool man! Keep drummin'! I added your performance to my channel of electronic music

    Adios

  • fuckin dope

  • i enjoy your stuff.

i'll still take my loop pedal, handsonic, micro korg over it... im retarded with computers. you have sparked my interest though.

i take it your a jojo mayer fan?

  • freakin awesome man!!

  • cool! In time and with a good dnb fill. I really enjoyed. Can you tell what's the name of the drum synth. which your using?

  • drum synth!? Everything's custom made samples triggering in Battery

  • Cool.

  • dope shit.

  • Great stuff. Respect!

  • very cool

  • yeah

  • that is AMAZING!!! fucking hell.. keep it going!

  • where do you get those and how much are they?

  • duuudeeee insane man i love your sound and techniqe keep it up

  • massive!!!! amen rules!!!

  • He is GREAT!!

  • why not just get a drum set

  • i played on a drumset for 13 years :) it's too heavy to bring to gigs

  • well for what your playing all you need is bass drum snare and hi hats that weighs nothing depending on the type of wood your using i mean ive got a 6 piece with 13 cymbals that thing is a pain in the ass to lug around to gigs

  • Because you wouldn't get the customisation of sound. You can assign any sound you want to those pads in effect. Unless you mean a full electronic kit, which is probably more expensive.

  • Errr... because a drum kit cannot make any of those sounds, and you need a van to carry it round, you cannot synch a drum kit to your pc, plus your mum wont be too happy with you whacking a drum kit at 2 in the AM - you can use this with headphones!

  • Because this can have thousands of sounds instead of just a few : P

  • a drum kit has thousands of sounds too -- in the right hands...

  • i know i drum but you cant do half the shit this guy does on a drum kit not unless your drum kit has a string section (he uses string samples in some of the vids)

  • yeah, good point. I think the vid is awesome anyway. Great sounds and vibe.

  • tight.

  • nice one mate thats a skill

  • damn.

  • boh boh boh!!!

  • send me some 320s K?

  • you've really got a hell of a feel and a hell of a plan.

  • daaaaaaaa zaebis great

  • HELL YEAH

  • Im interested what that box is...

  • that box is a custom box I had made by my friend brian cass at rock & roll machines. It runs on a miditron board.

  • I like this, real drums are so limited and boring.

I think the concept is more interesting than the actual output. It definitely has it's place though performance wise. New jungle is faster and quite complicated nowadays.

  • Great stuff man looks like a lot of fun!

  • Yep, who says all dnb has to be sequenced? London Elektricity also does live performances.

  • Live drum'n'bass , bout time

  • daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn dude!

    great job!

  • Very cool man

  • very nice sound! well done

  • hi

can you contact me on what the little box in between your apple and SPD is?

    thx

  • very nice ;)

  • niiice. this is all after having studied stick control... :)

  • hope you got a vinyl-writer and live in the usa... if'n so, i'd like to talk to you about producing some dark jungle for me to spin

  • sick keep it up

  • WOW! Really nice! I'm thinking of getting a digital drumset but some of the videos that I heard made me think negatively of them, but your video gave me hope.

  • yo this sick...stop hatin...peace

  • Wow. Brilliant.

  • nice

  • noone said they were drums.. this is the 21st century...

  • amazing.. love it

  • nice skills! Fucking love jungle and dnb! phat as hell

  • dope! heavy

  • me likey

  • boring it isn't. it's totally different than playing on real drums. i mean, can you play bass lines on a real drum kit?

  • it must be so boring to play on those fake drums ! It's like a drum but without emotions!
