with what I've heard about Amy and Rory's time with the Doctor ending at the end of series 7, if the rumors are true and they're killed off, I'm really kind of hoping he finds a way to save them and upload them into CAL in the Library so they can live forever with their daughter.

Why do they bother comparing diaries if they go in the wrong order? If one of them has done something - anything - with the other you can guarantee the other has not done it yet and you can't tell them about it without it being a "spoiler". I don't think they can possibly be in exactly opposite directions - we've seen the first meetings at both ends but they must have more adventures to come in the future timestream of the doctor...

the only reason why the doctor told river his name is so she could use it to tell the past him so the past him would get that extra urge needed to figure out how to save her. Love on rivers part yes...but Saving a friend on the doctors part. ;)

@burger3328 he does know her "death" he just doesn't tell her because it would be "spoilers". Both are in the same boat, She knows she was going to "kill" him and never told him because it would have been a spoiler for him.

@TheJohndeering actually they are going to have tons of adventures i think the current count is like 5-7 depending on interpretation of events she has talked about. Events have happened for her that still haven't happened for the doctor.

@TheJohndeering The Doctor still has to give her his Sonic Screwdriver, so until that day, we'll see her again.

And even when that does happen, it doesn't have to mean we wont see her again in her past.

@Redstar2613 We've already seen the last date with River Song already. It was in one of the five minsodes showing what the Doctor does at night while Amy and Rory are sleeping.

@lauren7301 actually no we havn't.... the doctor that we saw bringing her to the Singing towers was his future self... and since we watch this series from the Doctor's POV we MAY be shown how it plays out... which is what im hoping if not i'll seriously cry T_T

and actually in First and Last Night in the Doctor's timeline, Amy and Rory had already left him, in both his and River's POV it was right after The Wedding of River Song

@NicoleTesla I think the Doctor could have told River his name when he died in Let's Kill Hitler. What he said to her to tell River Song (which she didn't know was herself) is something we don't know for sure.

this was great, when i saw it on tv the other week i enjoyed it and was hoping someone would load it on youtube, now i find someone had, thanks for the upload of this, i hope it doesnt get taken off, now we know the full hostory of river song, although we still havnt seen other adventured of the doctor & river that she has mentioned in her diary, like when she explained when the doctor appeared on her doorstop, they went somewhere together & he cried cos he knew she was going to the liburary

i have a question that has been gnawing at my brain since aprill how the hell did river shoot that silence (or silent) if she was looking away from it????????? (7:55) if anybody can give me an answer to this (or even a half decent theory) before my head explodes i will be most gr8ful thank you for your time

@xandyx21 simple she didn't know what she was shooting at, she used rory reaction to make the shot, remember she is such a good shot she can shoot a hat off a person perfectly from a quick draw.

@redmatrix check out my other video for an example, there are some very specific conditions that need to occur for a video like this to be covered by the fair use of commentary (like the fact that copyright holder didn't publish a clip that handled the specific commentary- ie only included it in a full epoisode) but the legal conditions of fair use do apply for such commentary
