As Cable & Wireless didn't carry the channel, as a matter of fact I don't think any Cable operator did. I guess it's that they don't pay for it, they don't get it kinda thing.
It did, GTTV had the channel from 6am to 6pm, and then Sky Scottish had it from 6pm to 8pm, but GTTV closed down on 31st August 1997, so the transponder that carried it only had Sky Scottish on there until Sky Box Office 3 launched in December 1997. Even then it was only an 8pm to 6am service, before it became 8pm to 6pm.
At one point there was a Trasnponder on Astra that carried, The Christian Channel, Sky Travel, Sky Soap, The History Channel, The Sci-Fi Channel and Sky Sports 2!
I like the background music during the ordering instructions. Awesome :)
