I think that the chorus off the self-titled album and the difference it makes had a huge impact.. "so here I am.." made the song more personal for Bert and anyone who listened to it. That's just my opinion I love the used by the way..I love every album.

lol....it makes me feel good to know that sometimes the bands I love can sound like some of the crap I write....Listen to 1:00-1:15. They either messed up and could not afford to redo it or they just wrote a funky part....The Chorus in the Album version saved this song and made it very catchy......

@punx8086 I guess it's just a matter of opinion whether the chorus in the album version saved this song or not. Personally, I like the raw quality of this better because I didn't think that there was anything special about the chorus. Also, this is just a Demo, it makes sense that it won't be perfect since it's only a reference. Redoing a recording that isn't even going to be the final over and over until it's perfect seems like a waste, these things cost money after all.

I love things raw and unpolished... in it's natural state. Sometimes too much furniture polish and when you "cut" something in a bad angle ... you've turned the value of a raw gem into something worthless than what it was at the beginning.
