    message me please

  • I have a ten gallon tank. I just ot an angelfish, but he's/she's kinda shy. :)

  • my fish died cause i forgot to put water in his tank.

  • My angel spike ^^ die today and I'm sad :(

  • Beautiful Angels!

  • Hey i got 3 really small angel fish, and a beta fish in a 10 gallon tank. The angel fishes keep attacking my beta idk what to do....will they stop after a couple days or so??

  • @dylanrocks100 The angel fishes keep attacking your beta??? You BETTA need to be careful.

  • No, my neice and her husband now have the tank and fish. I am glad to report the yellow one is still going strong and the tank is now over 30 years old!! Don't build them like that anymore.

  • Do you still have these guys? They are beautiful and look like they are full of character. The yellow one is impressive!

  • i have 2 just like yours.. check out my channel... and they dont tend to be over protective or agresive vith other fishes.... they are so cool... :D they are a little more relaxed than my gold fish or molly but i noticed that they are more smarter than the others :d just a little bit.. and courios too :D

  • haveing fun there

  • Could I get 2 Scalars (German for Angel Fish ^^) into a 150l tank?

  • Could I get 2 Angel Fishs (in german Scalare/Skalare :D) into a 150l tank?

  • there so cute

  • nice fishys!

  • I just bought an angel barely even 2cm and fins nipped to hell, i figured i might as well take him because 1. Fins will grow back 2. He'd probably get bullied till he died 3. He actually has awesome markings :D

  • r they that friendly???? nice!!!

  • it looks more like they are protecting an upcoming hatch than playing

  • hi I am looking to get a angelfish tomorrow for my 29 gallon tank. Should I get two or should one be fine.

  • Do these angels require any special treatment like discus and would they be ok with fish like clown loach and x-ray tetra? Thank Ollie

  • they r not playing....they are attacking....u ...they must have layed eggs....

  • please look at my dads angel fishtank slideshow on my vids and tell me what you thinkhe made the castle that is in the tank

  • do your two angelfish ge agressevie with one another? i was think about getting some and that would really help!!!!!!! and how big of a tank would 2 need and do i need a tank if i just get one or could i use a fish bowl??

  • I just love your angels very pretty! I have a angel baby. Very cool fish.

  • nice.. check out my tank

  • haha im gonna buy some angels for my 5 gallon tank and lol funny angels really cool

  • i wouldnt do that. i have a 10 gallon and they barely fit. and are still growing.

  • @MrDarekx12 I wouldn't recommend keeping even 1 angel in a 5 gallon tank. Imo, they really need at least 20 gallons to be kept properly, but the larger the better. They also prefer taller tanks to longer ones. I keep a mated pair in my 35 gallon tank, and they are great looking fish, but tbh I wouldn't put them anywhere near a 5 gallon if I were you. try a small shoal of tetras, and maybe some Otocinclus cats. Shrimps are good too!

  • could i get 2 angel fish in a roma 90 ?? iv phoned a few fish shops and they say it would b ok. plz answer me b4 sunday... thank you

  • The fish shops would say that. Its up to you but personally I wouldn't. I just checked the Roma out online. These fish do need to be able to spread their wings occasionally and that tank looks a little constrictive to me although it looks nice enough.

  • @Qwalkson you should get 5 so there in a school and they wont fight

  • @HEAVYMETALGODS86feb9 okay.... Why are you replying to a comment that is over a year old ? do you think i would be wating for an answer for over a year ??? lol

  • no but you could fit like 7 in a 45

  • Yes 10 would be too much. They do tend to dominate parts of the tank and attempt to chase others away.

  • @catsmad48 What about a mated pair in a 29 gal, assuming they were the only ones in it besides some cleaners. (Snails, cories & such)

  • only babies though

  • can i put 10 angels in 30 gallon? or in 45?

  • lovely angels. theyre the friendliest i think ive ever seen! how big can angelfish get up to? thanks for help:)!

  • @amzzlou23 6in

  • can i keep

    2 angelfish

    2 dwarf gouramis

    6 giant danios

    1 pictus cat

    in a 55 gallon?

  • do you think i could keep two angels in a ten gallon if i had lots of filtration

  • no you couldnt keep one angel in a ten gallon its much to small

  • what about dwarf gouramis?

  • thats a hard one dwarf gouramis can survive in a 10 gallon but they wont be happy you could try zebra danios but im guessing you want bigger more interesting fish

heres one that youll have to do alot of research on but these guys will be perfectly happy in a 10 gallon since they only need 5 gallons for one

    its called a "dwarf puffer"

they consist on meaty foods such as blood worms snails and stuff liek that but they are so adorable , they are freshwater youll need a heavily planted tank

  • any suggestions on where i could get those?

  • well do a whole lotta research on them first there very hard fish to take care of and you can get them over the internet just search "dwarf puffer fish for sale"

  • thx!:)

  • sure

  • no, angelfish don't even like alot of filtration and you should have at least 30 gallons for 2 and you coud have alot of aggression issues.

  • Wouldn't recommend it as angels are semi-aggressive and tend to stake out an area of the tank as their own. Plus, they can grow quite large and in a 10 gallon, they would quickly outgrow it.

  • they both look so beautiful

    especially the yellow one

    btw

    how big is this tank?

  • The tank is 4ft by 15ins high. 2 filters , 1 internal one external

  • @catsmad48 for just 2 fish???!!

  • That yellow one is stunning, I've never seen such a beautiful angel fish, are they in breeding colors?

  • They were when this was taken. Unfortunately the black one has died this week so will have to get another. The yellow one is even bigger now and just as bright. Very bullish though.

  • Oh btw I have been trying to get him a little friend but every angel fish I've put in the tank he's killed :( I started with three and he offed the other two. I've bought six others (one at a time) since and they've all ended up belly up. Does anyone know why he hates his own kind so much? I thought they needed to be paired off.

  • I have a huge male angel fish and I have mine trained to follow my finger and he'll even take food from my hand. I think they're really smart. I really don't know much about them other then they're beautiful and my favorite fish. I've spent allot of time in front of my tank for the past two years and I know to some it may sound dumb but he's my little buddy and I tell him everything! :P

  • I can relate to that. Sometimes they are the only ones listening.

  • Do u know if ghost shrimp go good with angelfish ?

  • no they dont i has a gshrimp with a small angelfish and it tore it up hope this helps

  • Most of them do this especially in breeding to keep you away from the eggs. Not hard to care for at all. Dont overcrowd them and they're ace.

  • Awesome! How'd you get the angels to do that? Or is it just an angel thing? I've seen angels at the LFS do that, but I myself haven't had the privilege to own one. Are they really hard to take care of?

  • Just looked on ebay...av price is £12

  • no no no i mean like an internal filter but it only makes a small current in the tank but no bubbles come out

    that sorter thing

  • Yes then a small bubbler would be good. I've got the external spraybar down one end and an internal filter at the other in case of failures. The internal sprays bubbles and water and the spraybar stirs up the water pretty good as it hits the surface.

  • does it make alot o noise? and and which one do u recomend the the air pump ornimants that u see in stores where the frog opens his mouth or sumthing like that or would u recomend one of those small air pump hose that floats in the water?

  • yes bubbles would be good. I've got one of those powerheads that spray water and bubbles at one end

  • I wouldn't recommend any as they ALL make too much noise. Go for a powerhead internal with a cannister attachment. Bubbles and filtration in silence!!!

  • how much do they cost?

  • were i live there about 15 bux for 1 and there realy small so yeah

  • You have to have something that breaks up the surface of the water. A small air pump would be ok. Do you mean you have an undergravel filter?

  • yes, external cannister is best but a powerhead or internal filter will do

  • well i have this filter that goes underneath the water and a heater but does an air pump help?

  • hey do angel fish need an air pump? because my angel fish keeps gulping air on the water suface

    plz help xD

  • Yes you have to have a powerhead, mechanical filter internal or a external cannister filter

  • i want some angel fish

  • hey i just about a 20 gallon, heater/filter , i have to wait a week befor i can put fish in, i keep hearking 20 galls is to small for a lot of fish, but 20 gallons looks plenty for rainbows and acouple other fish to live in i think, or even a small rainbow fish and some other fish, can some one help me pick fish for my 20 gall : ) thanks

  • are u ever gonna feed them?

  • Comment removed

  • No, we luckily live in a fairly hard-water area...(most of sth london is) and they seem to thrive on it. Weekly water change though of three gallons and internal and external canister filters

  • Do you worry about the ph you keep your angels at?

  • oh my, that looks like my angel fishes, there also big but my white one died:( . . . but the black one is still alive but hes not as big as your one though. cool fishes x

  • you know what they also like BLENDERS

  • u guys please respond is it possible to have an angelfish with guppies? will they eat them? or are angelfish salt water? what do they eat? how much do they cost?

  • i'm not sure if you could have them together, i think they will fight alot. Some angelfish are saltwater and others are freshwater, i have the freshwater kind. angelfish eat blood worms, thats what i feed them, but in the wild they eat fry (baby) fish. i got mines for about $8 for 2 in new york.i have marble angelfish

  • lol for a while... eventually the angels will out grow the guppies and try and eat them.

  • lol dont be suprised... thats not such a bad thing if a couple disapear lol i already have close to 100 in around 3 tanks

  • does anyone one know if i could put a anglefish into a 10 gallon community fish tank

  • wouldnt that be a little small for an angel fish?

  • no thts pretty big

  • 10 gallons is way to small for an angelfish.

  • They are so purdy....... :D

I hope to get some angels soon, what sort of water parameters do they like?

  • I love how angelfishes look like kites~

  • My Red angels also likes being played with :)

    Oh i love my angelfishs

  • red angels?!

  • yes i have red angelfishs. Try look it up on google.

  • lol?

  • i used to own a couple of anfelfish

laying eggs..the male got sick and died..they were a great couple always together...i still have the female she is big but sad i think..i am getting a male but i only see small ones at pet stores..i have to keep searching..

  • beautiful fish you have there.. im buying 3 angelfish for my new tank tommorow :)

    -Runesick

  • HOw did you make them play? Mine are stubborn

  • rofl how stubborn?? maybe feed them with bloodworms? they should get pretty tame

  • I change my mind, Ithey became playful. I saw them coming near me when I put my toung out by the glass! XD

  • thats good to hear keegee1012.

evry time im coming from school , they allways wait for me. they make clicking sounds , because they wanna have food XD. Thank god im stuck up with bloodworms or what you call it :D

  • Im stuck with "Loving angels and discus" cause now whenever I pass by, They r always hungry for flakes and worms. XD

  • sorry i ment koi

  • nice hoi angel!

  • can a single angelfish live in a 29 gallon

    (30,12,18)its entire life??

  • Yeah. You might be able to fit 2 in if you aquascape the tank properly and have less fish in it.

  • the Tank should be at least 50cm high (1 inch =ca 2,5cm) and 100liter or more, Give the fishes as much space you can afford!

  • how many could i put in a 6 gal ?

  • None!

Angelfish get up to 6" long. Also with their fins they stretch out height wise. You have to have at least a 30 gallon to have any Angelfish.

  • I had a twenty gallon with 2 huge Angelfish.. You have no idea what you're talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • the rule is 10 gallons per angel

  • Sangoluvr9 is right. You can keep angelfish in as small as a ten gallon without any other fish. Angelfish aren't so much surprised by how limited thier space is but by the waste they produce. You will need good filteration.

  • Is that a 2 foot tank?. Mines 30gal and an angel know all told me I could comfortably have six small ones to allow for growth.

  • how many small angels could you fit in 20g ? thanks

  • Have an external cannister filter EHEIM and 1 internal powerhead with filter. Partial (3 gallon) water change weekly.

  • what filter / air system do u have?

  • lol

  • can angel fish live with out a heater

  • yes. It really depends on the temperature of your house and the size of your tank.

  • mine are doing the same thing but that is when they are about to spawn

  • i wanted to buy a angel fish but here in puerto rico dunno why they dont live for long... and idk if the zebras that i have would leave them alone... they are a bunch of bullies

  • When i feed mine they come up to my fingers to get the food..

Thats so funny. And one of mine bite me :O

  • mine are afraid of aything on the glass, but they do attack anyhting i stick into the tank

  • How sweet

  • nice n healthy angels..
