Splinter Cell is way better. No mutants and any other paranormal fags... and it is on PC. MGS is kids shit not avalaible on the PC. Full of ninjas, robots, supernatural faggots and other stupid idiots. I prefer Sam Fisher as ultimate warrior. Metal Gear: Has a very romanticized view of what the life of a soldier is like. Story gets downright silly and unbelievable sometimes (why in custscenes does nobody ever shoot snake even though they have many opportunities too). Likes to persecute nukes because it's japanese.
Sam Fisher: Graduate of Naval Academy. Former Navy Seal. Former DEVGRU operator. Former CIA SAD/SOG Operative. Former Splinter cell. Master of Navy Seal CQC, Parkour, and Krav Maga. Been in over 100 STEALTH missions. Has 26 more years of experience then snake.
Solid Snake: Former Green Beret, and Foxhound operative (a unit that does not exist), Master of CQC ( though for some reason the game believes it's the best style ever. Uses ridiculous gun techniques.

METAL GEAR SOLID 4 is so much better when it comes to everything in my opinion mgs4 has better Hand to hand combat because there is more variety and if you wanted to in mgs4 you could melee two people at once the most I've meleed is 3 but in spliner cell i never really got the feeling that i could and should use my hand to hand combat i mean really press one button and it takes a guy down and if there are two guys you're dead but don't get me wrong i love splinter cell it is a really good game

Sam fisher won hands down if there's one thing I know it's Sam fisher I've read all of the Tom Clancy inspired novels about Sam fisher and he's without a doubt the best stealth operative I've ever seen. Sure solid snake is genetically altered but Sam isn't he's all natural bad ass.
Metal Gear Solid isn't just a stealth game, it's lessons about life, war, and how anyone, with enough determination, can beat their genetics. The amount of philosophy in the series is amazing. Enough to beat out any Splinter cell game.
Solid snake has about 180 IQ he's smarter than Sam sam fisher can never surpass snake's his skills are inferior to him TO snake's again that means snake has over 100 different weapons in few games that could whip sam's scrawny butt this argument is very stupid i'm about to walk in there.

I've played both and prefer Splinter Cell. The first Metal Gear Solid is an amazing game, but I enjoyed the third Splinter Cell, Chaos Theory, more. It's just something about that game that I loved.
One of Snake's speech can easily take down Sam Fisher. I'm just joking but Metal Gear isn't just a game it is an eye opener. Everybody who has played Metal Gear can tell you the same thing. The speeches at the end of the games are amazing. Most of these people comparing each game haven't even played the other to decide which one they liked best. I am one of these people so i just stay neutral about it.
Snake might beat Sam in a fight but really Sam is actually believable. Sam could very well be a real rogue badass while Solid Snake was genetically enhanced and "made" to be what he is.
Snake is awesome and Metal Gear Solid is among the best games series ever created (top 3 for me). Haven't played Splinter Cell before but MGS is definitely original and has one crazy over the top story that makes it even better.

Metal Gear: Has a very romanticized view of what the life of a soldier is like. Story gets downright silly and unbelievable sometimes (why in custscenes does nobody ever shoot snake even though they have many opportunities too). Likes to persecute nukes because it's japanese.

As for Snake and Sam.... in a one on one hand to hand fight Snake would win in my opinion. Just when Sam thinks he's had him Snake would pull off some crazy CQC move and K.O him.

He has realistic skills like hanging forever from a legde, like having no blood when they shoot him, like having three goggles in one (a cool thing though but not in the real world since there is no such thing. Also, he can kill instantly only with one stub. Most people usually need more than one stabs to be killed, but sam can do it with one. Now, can you understand how realistic is splinter cell as a game? :D Those sc idiots..

METAL GEAR SOLID 4 is so much better when it comes to everything in my opinion mgs4 has better Hand to hand combat because there is more variety and if you wanted to in mgs4 you could melee two people at once the most I've meleed is 3 but in spliner cell i never really got the feeling that i could and should use my hand to hand combat i mean really press one button and it takes a guy down and if there are two guys you're dead but don't get me wrong i love splinter cell it is a really good game

I've played both and prefer Splinter Cell. The first Metal Gear Solid is an amazing game, but I enjoyed the third Splinter Cell, Chaos Theory, more. It's just something about that game that I loved.

The speeches at the end of the games are amazing. Most of these people comparing each game haven't even played the other to decide which one they liked best. All right! Sam Fisher is a bad ass, no one should doubt that. But anyone who says he could beat Solid Snake obviously hasn't played any of the MGS games. Sure, Sam Fisher is cool looking, but, Snake has taken down so much more harder opponents than Sam has. I'd like to see Sam Fisher take on a Metal Gear by himself, or even fight Psycho Mantis. Even in hand to hand combat, Snake would beat Sam, it's like pitting Master Chief vs Captain Price, I prefer CoD to Halo, but Chief has Mjolnir Armor.
