In Snake Eater they have a guy who can control bee's, a psychic ghost man, a Russian cosmonaut that uses a flamer thrower and has a jet-pack (cause we had those in the Cold War), an annoying spiderguy, and a 100 year old sniper.

Even though nukes have saved more lives then they've taken. Has a magic tranquilizer gun that takes out any challenge of a stealth game. Has snake doing ridiculous "action movie" scenes (Twin Snakes). Stealth was better in previous games since it had more to do with moving at the right time and staying out of site rather then the ridiculous camo index which makes the game piss easy. Judging by new release has become just another anime slasher game like ninja gaiden.

Splinter Cell: Has a realistic view on politics and war. Main character does not make ridiculously hammy speeches. And goes up against realistic enemies, no psychics or people who control bees here.

Metal Gear: Has a very romanticized view of what the life of a soldier is like. Story gets downright silly and unbelievable sometimes (why in custscenes does nobody ever shoot snake even though they have many opportunities too). Likes to persecute nukes because it's japanese.
