To me, "rex tremendae" and "dies irae" are the best tunes ever writen. Both rex and lacrimosa performances, the tempos should be faster. Rex: "King of tremendous majesty.You freely save those worthy of salvation..Save me, fount of pity."

I think that a slower tempo is more majestic, more imposing and impressive. In few words: definitely suitable for a "King of tremendous majesty" who is also "fount of pity", as you correctly said.

Everytime I hear this Requiem I get so moved...! Mozart IS a genius, He really IS. The word "Lacrymosa" is carved deeply inside my heart, that's why I really love this song. Mozart -Blessed be.
This work is really indescribable! This astonishing piece has a major influence on me! For me this is pure Magic. Hey, I'm only 15 years old but Mozart's Requiem is beyond all words! I can imagine that a lot of people in my age like... Hmm... The Rasmus, Green Day and that stuff, but not me -- I love classical music. ^^ Can you believe that this is a sensational composition made mainly by one human being?! ^^
