  • this was good art ref thanx

  • oh my goth!!! this is amazing!!!

  • Thanks! The best thing about this animation to me is that I did the whole thing in 2 months from start to finish in 1998 by myself. This means YOU could make a feature film in a year by yourself using this Southpark type of animation style. A small team of people could create a film even faster. The key thing is the story. A new article from Student Filmmakers Magazine by me on this film and how to make a no budget feature is on MyFlik.

  • Lol. So terribly macabre, love it! Great animation. [=

  • oh my god!!! I love sisters of mercy!!! and just for that! I'm gonna fav!

  • Oh ok but what is the song at beginning?

  • I think it is Black Planet from the Sisters Of Mercy. See comments below.

  • Oh, now I see. I saw that is a ending song, but now I see it's a begining and ending. Thanks, and sorry for little problem.

  • First song is Black Planet and the last song is No Time To Cry both from Sisters Of Mercy's "First, Last & Always" album from around 1984 I think.

  • Normally I would get pissed off at this kind of thing, but for once I'm finding in quite funny. Its pretty cool.

  • Awesome! I love the animation style! Very unique. What is the song in the beginning?

  • Thanks! It's the same song as the one at the end "No Time To Cry" by Sisters Of Mercy off of the ultimate Goth 80's album "First Last & Always." I use to listen to this album on loop for years way back when. By far my favorite Goth album of all time.

  • I could have sworn it was "Black Planet" by Sisters of Mercy...

  • You know I think you are right! After listening to the album on loop all those years my memory should be better. I cannot find "First, Last & Always" anymore to check but it does sound like Black Planet. Great music video for that track where they ride around in a convertible all dressed up screaming the song then go on a hike through the wastelands of Detroit building rubble. But I could be remembering that wrong too - 80's are a bit of a blurr. You obviously like them if you can spot the track

  • charming just charming

  • what is the song at the end??

    i love the video

    great animation

  • Why oh why did you have to ruin Jim Morrison T.T

  • amazing

  • Ha! that was awesome! well done. Jim had a bald spot..lol.

  • emorella

  • Excellent animation,...looks like it took ages!

  • she didnt think it through, jim was a grooved out hippie not a goth. and not all goths are satanists, they are a faction unto themselves.

  • I was not implying that Jim was a satanist just that he ended up in hell for the sake of my Goth cartoon. Heaven would not have been as dark...

  • Hi Sherri - I'm reading your book and loving it! Hey...when Jim says he's crossed over to the other side...shouldn't that be 'broken on through' to the other side? nyuk nyuk...er, sorry. Great short!

  • ahahhahahahaaha

  • Nices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!
