Just what I was thinking! They can change the dwarves to men (or at least go with a version that doesn't include the seven "entities" as dwarves) for the sake of realism, but they have no problem putting tropical reptiles in clearly inappropriate biomes!

Although this movie is supposed to be a bit scary, I can't help to see nothing but the cute love story between Lily and that hot "dwarf" (or I guess "outlaw" fits a bit better :P). I smile every time =) Already in the first scene with the two of them you can tell there's gonna be something between them ;) :)
