@MrOnetwodave Not sure mate - doesn't sound good! Go and grab the one that I suggested you get and modify as per my videos - or simply pause my video and edit yours to match. Watch my video on setting up a new project and "getting started with codeigniter" because i think i talk about where to get the htaccess file that i use in that video. GL HF

@MrOnetwodave The Deny from All .htaccess files appear in Application and System to prevent anyone from getting at the nuts and bolts of your app.

The .htaccess file that @Verbloten references goes into the same directory as your index.php file.
