I really enjoyed this game but I felt that there wasn't enough emphasis on the gravity of being good or bad. The only real difference (save for one or two quests) is that the NPCs are nice/mean to you, which could be remedied by placating them.
I also found it a bit too easy. I'm not awesome at games but I never died. That said, I played through the game again as a heel.
Anyway I'd really recommend the game but I think moral decisions should've had bigger ramifications.

Fable 2 is technically an RPG just like pokemon. That's right, pokemon is an RPG.
Despite peter making the game sound much better than what it really is, i enjoyed the game greatly and i have to say that the team who made fable 2 are very tallented.
The fact the system is like FF8's levelling system, exccept even worse because you're basically penalised without any recovery if you choose to sleep and gain levels when you can level up without intentionally and forcibly boosting stats...something newer players, or players who don't read guides, don't know about. In short, Oblivion's levelling system is probably the most contrived piece of garbage made for an RPG - if you get a mod to replace it then the game is sick though.
The length of the main story in Oblivion is also incredibly short though, and exploring gets boring after awhile. I'll definitely agree that some of the side questlines, like the Dark Brotherhood, are excellent and the fact you can play Oblivion in so many different ways (stealth, gung-ho etc.) is great but on the topic of character development it's definitely NOT one of Oblivion's strengths.
The 'levelling' system is outrageously flawed with Oblivion, so much so there are mods which change it.

theres plenty more games to choose from. Crackdown, Gears of war, Halo,Mass effect,Left 4 Dead,TLAD and Lost Odyssey. Ps3 has some great exclusive games too though
Fable II is a great game. I own the game and it is fun. I beat the campaign, that was fun. There are alot of side quests to do with your time and if you don't want to do quests, you can just go find silver keys or gargoyles to shoot. Also, the new DLC for this game, "See The Future" is out May 12th. I can't w8 for it :D

I've got Assassin's Creed and it's a great game, I am going to get Fable 2. But I think you should ask your self the question do you want RPG or an Action/Adventure game with stunning graphics and good story.

fable 2 is an awesome game but i hope they come out with fable2:lost chapter or some kinda of expansion becuz that last boss battle is so gay

What last boss battle? its pretty much non-existant, however I liked the whole game, they are coming out with DLC this month! Adding 5hrs more gameplay, Lionhead studios is releasing Knothole Glade! YAY!

I don't understand why people go on and on about the graphics when the engine can't even keep up with it. While running around you see the landscape popping in and out all around you. I also beat this game in three days so I suggest anybody who is interested to rent it

i realy think people are saying it to say it. dont let it get to you, because if kill zone 2 is a hit, then it will make the ps3 big, plus its format isnt going to die. (blueray dominated hddvds)

K Guys.... im getting a 360 for christmas and im stuck between getting fable 2 or assassins creed. im only allowed to pick 3 other games and so far they are halo 3, grand theft auto 4, and gears of war 1 (thought id wrap the first before goin straight to the second) so you guys should tell me fable 2 or assasins and comment on my other game choices or any other game ideas

I've got Assassin's Creed and it's a great game, I am going to get Fable 2. But I think you should ask your self the question do you want RPG or an Action/Adventure game with stunning graphics and good story.
Halo 3 and GTA 4 are great games but you might want to check out Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

dude im getin a 360 aswell...i picked fable 2 fallout 3 , midnight club la saints row 2 and pgr 4 get fable 2 my mates got assasins creed its a good game like...but it all reali depends what you like....fable 2 is long complex and fun....so is assasins creed but theres alot of repetition in the game....like you do 6 missions in 1 city and theres 3 cities....me and my freind completed it in one night. not 2 long.....what 360 you getting?

fuck halo, fuck gta4, and definalty fuck gears 1.(those games get old after a week or two, trust me i have all those games)dont even think about getting assassins creed either, it is a great game but i beat that thing in 1 day. get fallout 3, fable 2, and gears of war 2. at least that is what i am getting this christmas hahahajajajajajjalolollol

Your an idiot! 9.5? The games great, but the ending ruined the entire game for me. Not to mention... NOT ONE EPIC BOSS BATTLE IN THE ENTIRE GAME! I don't understand how they had hollywood writers help make this shit story! Does any one agree with me on the ending?
