  • very nice tank! love the set up

  • um ok i wanted to know what i need to start a reef tank for my seahorses. ty

  • whats the red coral called?

  • It's not a coral it's a red gorgonian and they have to be feed at least 3 to 4 times a week read up on them before getting one.

  • hi. buetiful tank. i wanted to do the same exact tank like to dot. i was hoping you could tell me what is in your tank. how long it takes before you can add the seahorses. and how much does it cost. this will be my first salwater tank. i had a freshwater at age 10 but my lil brother thought they were hungry and gave them an oreo cookie. please please msg me back. o and a list of directions on what to do.

  • Do you research on the net how to set up a tank for seahorses I'm not a expert but they are very hard to keep if you don't have a lot of time to take care of a tank. They are not the same as having fish seahorses can die very easy from not having good quality water. I waited at least 6 months after having this tank set up before I added sea horses. Make sure when you get them that the are tank raised and that they eat frozen mysis shrimp.

  • Yes you can keep mellow goby fish and pipefish with seahorses.Seahorses are easy to keep as long as the are eating frozen food like mysis shrimp. If I go on vacation it's only for a week and I make sure to have someone I trust to feed my seahorses and fish when I'm gone.

  • I'm researching seahorses at the moment too. how many seahorses do you have in that tank?

do they breed often and quickly?

Because if so, I don't really want to be dealing with 200+ baby seahorses!! :)

nice tank by the way. where did you get a seahorse from? I've looked everywhere

Is there a certain breed you would recomend?

  • Yes that's tong rock for the arch. Thanks for the nice comments I'm new a taking videos so the quality isn't the best. The plant you are talking about ( the one in the middle) it a yellow gorgonian or if you are talking about the orange one it's a orange tree sponge. That's good you are reading up on seahorses before getting some because they are very sensitive and need the right water quality and need to be feed atleat 2-3 times a day.

  • i will check out those gorgonians and also sponges, i know they need stuff to hold onto :D

what type of seahorses are they?

  • hi im new to seahorses but reading ALOT be for i set a tank up. Is that tonga rock you used to form the arch? it looks really nice. i love the plant at 1.20min what is it? beautiful tank by the way. x

  • Wow. That's so cool.
