That's all they show anymore on T.V. Sheldon and Penny would be everything for each other. Which is the way it should be. Especially due to Sheldon's personality.

He's not completely asexual. He has mentioned that Penny is hot/attractive multiple times, and in the first episode it is mentioned that he does make love to his fist occasionally.

Also, the chemistry between Penny and Leonard... it just doesn't fit. Sheldon is must more interesting than Leonard to boot. Much cuter couple, and more potential for character development as Sheldon learns to interact.
