Hell yeah! John certainly gets the groove on with that one. John Martyn never fails to stir something with in me, with his incredible talent when he plays. Every song is so different but perfect every time.

Love this song. What a great groove he gets going. Anything other than that restrained solo would have killed the song dead. Others should take note. You don't always need a face melter.

You're right I subsequently learned that the clip was from a performance that took place in 1984 at Camden Palace Theatre, London.

I believe the concert was available on a DVD.

There might even be the odd torrent file out there

guitar work fantastic the solo sounds like hes guitar work back in 1978 when he played on neil ardley,s harmony of the spheres album ,which also had billy kristian on bass (ray columbus & the invaders ) kiwi band from the sixties.
