America needs to do what Japan did for a while--it worked very well for them, until OUR government found a weak spot in THEIR government. Government, like any servant staff, needs to be trained and watched. On Thanksgiving weekend(there's a "co-incidence" for you--wink, wink)1963, our government was ripped violently and suddenly from us. I remember the change in America from that point in time.

What's wrong with nationalized health care, single payer, if states don't do it when it's needed? If the Constitution is against this, then the Constitution has been amended many times, so ... Nationalized health care coverage of this kind might in a literal sense be contrary to the Constitution, but it was formulated by humans and humans err, are incompetent or negligent, and can't predict every future need.

Otherwise, it's an interesting interview, so far anyway.

Actually, the situation is not as dramatic as it's made to appear. The law is the law, and in America, the people decide what the law is, and how it's to be applied and enforced. The American government can be run on the PREAMBLE of our Constitution.

If it was true, then we wouldn't have millions of non-violent offenders, who offended nothing, imprisoned; but, we do. A large number of people imprisoned were or aren't there because of govt that's Just, but due to bs, discrimination, et cetera. Many committed no violent offences and were only caught with some pot, marijuana. No offence occurred.

Washington does have constitutional authority over the states to the extent that a state cannot pursue a line of foreign policy which runs counter to the national interest. Engage in foreign wars, for example. But Arizona is not constitutionally bound to accept a situation where a foreign power, such as Mexico, may, in effect, invade Arizona's territory and Washington refuses to do anything about it, because that would run counter to Washington's foreign policy. One thing that may be beneficial, is letting the police know that we are on the same side. You could go to a police station and simply explain to the police that we are their friends. Explain to them that there is a growing trend where the police become enemies of the people, instead of protecting us. Article 4 section 3 has a cool bit about creating new states, if you aren't familiar with the state of Jefferson you may find both interesting.

First have Congressman Connie Mack (R-FL) against the lawsuit and now we have Sheriff Dick Mack against it, too! What do these Mack fellas have against the Constitution Of The US? This law sows seeds of tyranny & when it goes into effect it will be legal in Arizona to dispense with the 4th Amendment right to be secure against unreasonable searches and seizures.
