Thanks, for another stunning viedo, Michael, this song has always blown me away and you have added perfect imagery to it, my son watched it with me, not a great Rebel fan, but he was very impressed and the video made him really listen to the song for the first time.

PhilDeeferSite, thought I would let you know that I went to see him at a pub in Kew, or Richmond UK, back in 1975 with my now wife,we both thought he was fantastic, totally unique in so many ways, and incredibly brave even back in those days.

His songs were easily as comparable, versatile, and unique as the beatles.

We moved to Western Australia later that year,so unfortunately never got to see him perform again, big shame!

You was seeing him a year before me, I was seeing him for the first time in Gothenburg in 1976. But was reading about the band already 1973 in Melody Maker, Steve:H says in a interview that Cockney Rebel should be the best band ever, was so very big in his mouth but I was a bit corious so I bought their debut album a month later. Loved them since that. Seen the band two times later in 1990 and 2006. Hopefully will se them and him again soon. Best from videoman

The main reason I can think of to remain is curiousity. Also, you never know, since I 97% certain that we're heading for a slow and subtle takeover of all our human rights (for the majority anyway), tho it would be out of character, I might just find the courage to make a stand, or at least a gesture. That might well be risky (and I'm a coward about torture), but it's better than suicide, or even just fizzling out. But the main reason is curiousity. These are weird times.

Greetings from the west midlands of England-- also sunny at the moment- well it was yesterday, and probably will be again in two or three hours. Was the summer grey in Sweden as it mostly was in the UK? The Spring was pleasant here, then from late June onwards till now it was mostly drab- weird weather sandwich!

Nearly 40 years ago I first listened to this as a teenager. It blew me away. So many years have passed I had virtually forgotten about the song. Now thanks to you Michael

I got to listen to it again - and the effect was the same. I can't believe how well this music stands up after all this time. Truly the mark of a masterpiece . Thank you!

this was the very first song i heard, after finding out that my friend had been knocked off his motorcycle and subsequently dying from his injuries.

it remains still so very poignant and darkly surreal!

a masterpiece of musical mahem! even if tempered with sadness.

This song from the first album was one of my first...(my age then 15yrs)I played that album thousand times, even bought the lp again, and after so many years...I am still get a kick..
