This RARE edition of "MAKE ME LAUGH" aired live in the spring of 1958, on Thursday nights at 10pm(et), for American Tobacco's Taryeton. Kim Hunter and Orson Bean had recently emerged from "the blacklist", and were able to appear on TV again. Greta Thyssen was also appearing in Three Stooges theatrical shorts for Columbia at the time. Louis Nye was best known for being a member of Steve Allen's legendary supporting cast on his Sunday night NBC variety show {"Hi-ho, Steverino!"}.
The theme song from the 1958 ABC TV Network version of"Make Me Laugh"became the theme tune for Chuck McCann and Paul Ashley's"Let's Have Fun!"two years later."Believe It or Else"?!
Nice segment. Is there any others? Would love to see more
