If you compare Ma Long with another European player, say Timo Boll, then you'll see that Boll will have a relatively spinnier loop whereas Ma will have a relatively faster loop.

Now ask yourself, is it easier to hit through a spinny loop, or is it easier to spin through a fast loop?
