Sorry but from what i see here, certainly not up to the physical standard required. In my day - different time and different place, initial training ran over a period of 10 months, 24/7, 4/5 hours sleep if lucky, daily beastings with tarr-poles, ammo crates or whatever -usually incorporated as part of tactical training, first 2 days pass after 10 months. This is the type of pt once the privilage of cooks, medics and the like.

We never had any money given to us by the Americans, we had to rise as a nation together, That's why in 1948 we started the rebuild program when citizens helped other citizens by helping them pay for their taxes and a new rebuilding of homes! The Saxons settled in the northern part and other kingdoms developed.

I don't want to die of course not but the military is about more than just war nowadays. 200+ jobs are available, from rifleman to geographical surveyor. I plan to go into college and then possibly university but the Army/Air force is only a backup plan in case I don't manage to find a job elsewhere.
As far as i know, you will be a recruit for 24 weeks and then you will do additional training with your actual regiment you have gone into. Then you can consider yourself a full on infantry soldier. For your age, i think you should start thinking about different things you could go into because as you probably know, theres lods of different things you can be in the infantry. Im 15 and want to be a Royal Marines Commando. I no how hard the commando course is.

@IRELANDISMYCOUNTRY Just go there and give it your best shot, you'll probably do it a lot faster when you actually do it at mock selection. You'll have plenty of time to improve your time after mock selection, and if you practice regularly you will get your time down. My fitness was fucking dreadful a few months ago, but I worked on it and passed selection and I start basic this Sunday. IMO, the teamtasks are more important than the run anyway.

He was a little bit porky but not fat though. I need to get on these supplements. 1200 calories per serving. Cant go wrong.

I was delighted for em cause all they wanted was big arms and be the big strong guy but did nothing about their fitness. The thing is when im doing my run out the road im running up a gradual hill but it takes a lot out of ya where as when i do it in belfast its going to be on flat level ground.
@Bleakunending It depends on how old and tall you are mate. You can always go down to your AFCO (Armed Forces Careers Office) and chat with them about a career in the forces. They weigh you when you go in and tell you if you are eligible. Thats what I did, its no pressure and if you ask the recruiting sergeant he can give you some tips and advice about getting weight on etc.

He lost his right leg and now we have replaced it with a wheel...it's sad seeing my turtle injured, but it's worth it knowing that my turtle...my turle! was a horcourx and killed Voldermort. As a Ex British Army officier. I can openly say that, training is phyiscally and mentally challenging. I've served along side American soldiers both in Iraq and Afghanistan they are great men! We never had any money given to us by the Americans, we had to rise as a nation together, That's why in 1948 we started the rebuild program when citizens helped other citizens by helping them pay for their taxes and a new rebuilding of homes! We still had rations by 1949! If anything we were giving the Americans money for the Thompson M1A1 and the Thompson 1928A1!

When the Saxons invaded the British isles when the Romans in 400ad the Romans were leaving to defend other parts of the empire. the Saxons were eventually stopped by native British tribes. The Saxons settled in the northern part and other kingdoms developed.

I plan to go into college and then possibly university but the Army/Air force is only a backup plan in case I don't manage to find a job elsewhere.

As far as i know, you will be a recruit for 24 weeks and then you will do additional training with your actual regiment you have gone into. Then you can consider yourself a full on infantry soldier. For your age, i think you should start thinking about different things you could go into because as you probably know, theres lods of different things you can be in the infantry. Im 15 and want to be a Royal Marines Commando. I no how hard the commando course is.

Sad to see 2 ally countries bashing eachother. When in reality were on the same team. What I got from this video is that the English focus on teaching thier recruits in low stress way, as opposed to in the states where its constant stress.

@IRELANDISMYCOUNTRY Just go there and give it your best shot, you'll probably do it a lot faster when you actually do it at mock selection. You'll have plenty of time to improve your time after mock selection, and if you practice regularly you will get your time down. My fitness was fucking dreadful a few months ago, but I worked on it and passed selection and I start basic this Sunday. IMO, the teamtasks are more important than the run anyway.

I have one question tho, for the mock selection do ya wear a suit to it then change into ur PT gear or just casual clothes? I'm thinking the suit but just would like some confirmation.

@IRELANDISMYCOUNTRY State of mind mate. Just fucking belt it and give it your all at the final stretch. Ignore the cramp, the stitch, the headache. Just focus on what comes after you pass and if you really want it, your run time will improve. Also mate, your run time will improve on the day of the test. Everything becomes more real and serious.

@BunyiipProductions Im at the other extreme I was nearly 14 stone and they told me to lose 3 kilos iv lost almost 5 and it makes a big difference doing the run! The thing is tho im not even fat i just have a wide build.

@IRELANDISMYCOUNTRY Yeah, when i went down to the AFCO there was a lad there who did a lot of weight training and they told him to lose weight because his run time will suffer. He was a little bit porky but not fat though. I need to get on these supplements. 1200 calories per serving. Cant go wrong.

@BunyiipProductions 1200 calories fuck man, I know a few lads who started doing all that creatine stuff but didnt exercise enough and they turned into fat bastards. I was delighted for em cause all they wanted was big arms and be the big strong guy but did nothing about their fitness. The thing is when im doing my run out the road im running up a gradual hill but it takes a lot out of ya where as when i do it in belfast its going to be on flat level ground.

@Bleakunending It depends on how old and tall you are mate. You can always go down to your AFCO (Armed Forces Careers Office) and chat with them about a career in the forces. They weigh you when you go in and tell you if you are eligible. Thats what I did, its no pressure and if you ask the recruiting sergeant he can give you some tips and advice about getting weight on etc.
