Freiburger Barock-Consort, also know as Freiburger Barockorchester , a Chamber Orchestra whose soloists specialized in music of the seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries (with emphasis in north German Abendmusik), as well as classical romantic music.
Yes, one thing that amazes me in Telemann's music is his ability to incoporate a wide variety of musical influences in his compositions: italian concertos, the polonaises, french concertos... the man was a true citizen of Europe!
Lovely! The video is just wonderful to watch along with music. There were some architectures which actually looked very similar to the buildings found in Toronto and Ottawa, but of course they are not the same:) Thank you!
:) Thank YOU!... Telemann's Paris Quartets were actually composed in Hamburg around 1730, but were "pirated",i.e. copied without his permission and taken to Paris, were they were performed without his knowledge or consent. Later, around 1738, Telemann actually went to Paris and rearranged the Quartets :) So I decided to make the first video in this series with photos of both Hamburg and Paris, this one with only pictures from Hamburg and the third one will have only pictures of Paris :)
Beautiful sound of all the instruments, the sound colors are incredible.
Thank You Freiburgers !
