Yes, one thing that amazes me in Telemann's music is his ability to incoporate a wide variety of musical influences in his compositions: italian concertos, the polonaises, french concertos... the man was a true citizen of Europe!

:) Thank YOU!... Telemann's Paris Quartets were actually composed in Hamburg around 1730, but were "pirated",i.e. copied without his permission and taken to Paris, were they were performed without his knowledge or consent. Later, around 1738, Telemann actually went to Paris and rearranged the Quartets :) So I decided to make the first video in this series with photos of both Hamburg and Paris, this one with only pictures from Hamburg and the third one will have only pictures of Paris :)
