hello, can anyone tell me, when there's a moot competition, are the participants aware of the topic at hand before or do they only find when they step onto stage? i just started law school myself and we have a moot coming up in 5 months time approximately. thanks =)
they are normally given the moot question which includes the facts and appeal points about a week ahead sometimes more. there is a fixed time for submissions of written arguments prior to the moot for the judges to be aware. but really the crux ss the ability to makean argument and respond to the judges on your feet whilst making legal references and arguing from principles. good luck
How many law students does it take to turn a podium... two...
