If you had a degree in enviornmental science you should know there are two species of minke whale, there is no just "minke whale" there's the common minke, and the Antarctic minke, and the Antarctic minke is currently under suspicion for being an endangered species by the IUCNredlist. Not to mention the fin and humpback whales which are also endangered and targeted by Japan. So so much for you thinking you knew something.
