Matsuribayashi-hen was the "Good End" arc, wasn't it? Well, comparitively good end compared to the others, anyway. Nobody really goes completely bonkers in this arc. So why does this vid depict Rika starting creepily at Rena?

If you had watched the 1st ep of the Higurashi no naku koro ni kai anime, you would know that the Gas Disaster still happens, and Rika is still murdered right before that.

This scine is a flashback Rena has of Rika apearing before her while she is in hidding, and offering her an injection. When Rena rejects the needle outright, Rika says: "I am bored with 'this' Hinamizawa, I am going to the 'next' Hinamizawa."

Rena has this flashback of 1983 in the year 200X.

@DarkArcz matsuribayashi is the last chapter in kai I think. This is Tsumihoroboshi-hen. The one where Rena goes bonkers and is convinced, and is the only chapter where one of the characters realizeses his/her mistakes.

As seen in Kai ep 1, this is where Rika tried to convince Rena to take a syringe, in order to 'calm' her down. In the VN she is a lot more freaky, though.
