I bought this and the sequel and they're excellent.

The twist is really good, The kind you see in "I, Robot", "Minority Report", "Hot Fuzz" and "North by Northwest"

Very nice review. I felt this was a far superior "Appleseed" movie when compared to the animated atrocity made in the 80's. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly reccomend you see the sequel "Ex Machina." Even more action packed and the story turns very Final Fantasy-esque. However I'll always enjoy the graphic novel all of this is based off of the best.

Hey, your marathon is actually doing it's job. Not that I doubted it wouldn't.

Just ordered this movie. The plot seems to be intresting, and I just LOVE stuff that take place after WW III or some kind of apocalypse.

Also, the animation looks really great.

I thought this movie was rather boring, mostly because of the halfassed plot.

Yeah, as I mentioned the plot does tend to drag in places but I think the action sequences, especially at the end, more than make up for it.
