  • I was introduced to YES 1 year prior to their very 1st album release by a friend of a friend who brought the album back from a trip to England & have been listening ever since. My point is that if we didn't have our pre conceived notions of which lineup is the real YES (And believe me I have my own opinion) This track wouldn't be half bad.

  • MAKING GREAT MUSIC IS EASY: you don't permit ANY weak parts in. Evidently no one had the courage to say "this shit is WEAK, guys!"

  • I've always been a huge fan of YES... and this is DREADFUL and flaccid. Magnification had some shockingly great stuff, so go check that out if you thought (like me) that these guys are way "over".

  • You can tell me what you will.I love this song,I love Chris' voice here(and in FOOW) .Even if it is only an 11 minute song,it sounds Yes to me.

  • This sounds like the worst of Alan Parsons or Starcastle or Supertramp..... dreadfully monotonous just like most of the rest of FFH....

  • falta Jom anderson el mejor

  • YE$

    THE YE$ ALBUM

  • Drama was a great Yes album. This is like an update of that brief and often ignored and/or denigrated era of Yes history, and I really love it.

  • Thanks for posting the track and to all those of you who like it. Simon Sessler

  • Es un buen disco, recuerda un poco a drama, pero esta lejos de un fragile, o topographic ocean,

  • Hello there!!!! I follow Yes since 1971!! Thanks for posting this and friendly greetings to everyone!!!

  • I think that Downes is not a bad keyboardist. This new Yes album is one of the best.

  • gracias por todos los comentarios!!!

  • que importa que estemos viejos y pelados .- lo unico que cuenta es la musica un buen musico sigue aun despues de muerto

  • What they did to Oliver Wakeman was a damn shame!

  • In other words love it as a great peace of music with a lighter minimalist approach to lyrics and perhaps some 80's / late 70's roots.

Or you can hum along with 1 down one to go one more town and one more show?

  • lighter than even I expected, since I loved the Drama album. They all look weird except for Benoit . A bunch of old overweight rockers and 1 under weight rocker !. i love this album and all who played and or sang on it . This sharp nastiness amongst old and new fans went on when Drama was released. If anything was cheesy it was 90125 and big generator. The makeup and goofy outfits on stage and i think Chris wore a top with a stuffed snake toy attached. Trevor Rabin wore tight vinyl pants?

  • @apleasantsymmetry Oh! C'mon man! 90215 was FUN!! After all, weren't the 80's a big long party? I'm a huge YES fan. Of course I recognize that the earlier works were better and equal to none in rock history. But really! In the 80's they were in their 40's. Middle age crisis,...anyone? They were entitle to lossen up a bit. Can we agree on that? After years of been serious and "deep" about everything in life, now in my 40s I'm finally learning to take things a bit lighter and have some fun.

  • Or that you are a bitch with problems!!! What IS your problem. You comment more than I do and say worse things. FU

  • @iggypopster2 The only sensible observation that one can make about your comments is that you suffer from either VERY POOR reading comprehension or STUPIDITY...or possibly BOTH!!!

  • @ClitDoris Why you feel the urge to come to EVERY VIDEO OF THIS ALBUM, if you say you hated it and profess a total dislike for the current band members(your comments have been thumbed down to the max in many vids)Why don't you go to Jon's videos and write positive comments about him instead? If that's not "your thing" please find a way to regain pleasure playing with your Doris and LEAVE US ALONE! WE GET IT!! YOU HATE THE BAND!!! GET A LIFE!! There are other more important things to bitch about!

  • @vivelavidarocka Thanks for taking the time to suggests how I should conduct myself. However, you should know that i reject your suggestions on account of the fact that, if I were to accept suggestions from you, I'd only become a PATHETIC MORON just like you!

  • @ClitDoris LOL you are so juvenile. Get out of here! Seriously! Let's leave it like this while there's still room to make it with decency. Bye.

  • @vivelavidarocka Oh, so you've taken the time to post another IDIOTIC comment, huh? Well of course you have. After all, it's clear that you simply can't pass up an opportunity to demonstrate that you've entirely too much time on your hands and whole-lotta-NOTHING inside your BIG, STUPID HEAD!

  • @ClitDoris Why do you insult everyone in every video that doesn't agree with you? You are so full of yourself. Just get out of these videos. I have an excuse to be here: I like the album. You? just trolling. Now, tell me which one of us seems to have too much time on his hands? You should now the answer. On your profile you profess to be soooooo smart and this and everything but what you really are: A BORED TROLL. Ciao. (BTW you look so disgusting in that picture)

  • @vivelavidarocka You know, one might observe that you're about as stupid and useless as a rock; except that a rock can actually be useful, whereas you're as USELESS and as STUPID as a pile of DOG TURD!

  • @ClitDoris Hey! Chia Pet. Go trim yourself!! Hahaha! Leave me alone! Haha!

  • @iggypopster2 You think that Chris Squire was replaced with a "woman bassist"?

Hmmm.... were you trying much too hard to amuse yourself when you wrote that comment? Or did you merely wish to show everyone on this thread what a STUPID IDIOT you are?

  • @ClitDoris I guess both. thanks for the time! I mean really though. Look at him. All of them have a real fashion problem. I can say that though... I know them and play with some of them outside of YES, so I don't feel to guilty. But you have to admit... chris is looking a little weird!

  • @MorbidManMusic First, your comment ("Chris is looking a little weird") is strictly your opinion - and, as the adage goes, opinions are like arseholes: everyone has one one. Of course, as you're so full of opinions, it would appear that you're just one big ARSEHOLE.

Second, your comment strongly suggests that, rather than concerning yourself with how Chris (or anyone else in that pseudo Yes band) looks, you should instead be concerned with the fact that he behaves like a DESPICABLE SCUM BAG!

  • I love all those songs too for different musical reasons. The lyrics of this song touch me .I also love the disguised simplicity of the alternating 7/4 and 4/4 sections in the verses. The production by Trevor Horn is stellar!

  • @iggypopster2 ha ha! You sound like a kindred spirit. You deserve to be turned on to some really good music, if you haven't already heard it. Toy Matinee (1 album) Theresa Andersson (Hummingbird , go!) the Story (2 albums) and , of course, "the Way up" by Pat Metheny.

  • This is a great new Yes song that rivals anything that the band has ever done .The 10 year wait was well worth it!

  • @Bingowingsong that is borderline insanity. You REALLY think this song rivals Roundabout, Perpetual Change, Astral Traveler, All good people, Awaken, and you and I......????? the list goes on. So, you would pick this new thing over one of those to put in a time vault for the posterity of YES?

  • my fave on the new album so far.. love chris's voice!!

  • oh God, Yes using pitch correction! All is lost.....

  • Note to Chris Squire... The answer to the question posed in your lyric ("What have I become?") is this: You have become a DESPICABLE, TREACHEROUS, SELF-DELUDED, EGO MANIACAL, SCUM BAG!!!

  • This song is classic, my favorite on the album. The chorus, the way Chris Squire sings, and his harmony with the other sing reminds me so much of 90125! Perfect!

  • John Wetton's voice for this beauty song ... Will be perfect !

Asia come back in 2011, December !

    See you there !

    ספקטר

  • 2012 the year for a YES re-union jon, rick, peter and 3.5 hours of majic and beauty (im just saying) and this YES

  • Squire's "Fish Out of Water" is an amazing work. It should be on the shelf of every serious musician. But, come on guys, rehire Oliver. Downes is bringing you down.

  • @saarnoldbhm I totally agree.Geoff does not really belong in Yes.....Bring back any Wakeman,Rick preferably!!!

  • @carrietide The ONLY acceptable Wakeman other than Rick would be Adam...Geoff is a true texturalist...Eddie Jobson would have been the BEST choice by FAR!! And, he plays a virtuoso electric violin as well!! Stick with Geoff, or get Eddie or Adam should the chance arise!!!

  • @saarnoldbhm Oliver was not only a TOTAL embarassment to the band, but also to his father. If Adam wakeman would have joined, it would have been the best it could be ( albeit not having Jon of course ) or even Oscar; but Oliver is just AWFUL! I have been playing keys for 40 years, and know and can play EVERYTHING that Rick played with Yes...Olivers performances were "FUBAR". I saw him 4 times, most notably at the Bethlehem Music Fest in 2008....HORRIBLE! Geoff Downes does a fine job!

  • @crickert23 Well, I havent been playing 40 years--only 10--and I can't play most of Rick's stuff (wish I could), so I can't argue with you on that. Downes is fine for Asia but I just preferred Oliver. And I didn't care for Dowene's all Roland rig either. I prefer Oliver, or to be truthful if we can't have Rick give us Patrick or even Igor.

  • I love the Chris Squire lead vocals. Fits the rest of the album really well. Rock on Chris. Hope to here from Jon and Rick Wakeman soon. I understand that they are working on something together.

  • Since he wrote "It can Happen" Chris Squire has been invisible. No quality material...

this is the first song that he's written that isn't that bad in a long, long time. Better late then never I guess. Did he write this??? This is still a Buggles/Asia/Drama CD...not TRUE YES...

  • Yes rules!

  • CRIS lead vocals. We are in problems.

  • I love this new Yes Album...Every song is solid...this is my favorite song on the album...but so many good songs to choose from...I miss Jon too, but this is a good Yes album to have in every Yes collection, it had been 10 years since the last Yes studio album...this album is important, not only because it is a good album, but this album also makes me feel that Yes will be with us for many years to come, many future albums...Jon, Rabin, Wakeman, Tony Kaye, Bruford, they will all be back...

  • I miss Jon Anderson

  • Who is doing vocals on this?

  • @sarcee1960 I believe it's Chris Squire, the bassist. He's a great lead vocalist in his own right (he put out a solo album 'Fish Out Of Water' circa 1976, in which he sang lead on all songs)

  • @sarcee1960 Chris Squire

  • Thanks for that, but why 5 minutes for a song and 5 minutes of silence?

  • @SgtZaqq because I've gone the wrong way, but the original theme is shorter. sorry and thanks for the comment
