@RepGregWalden I am for limited government, but opposing this is just blind fear of government. Many inland waterways either flow across state lines, or end up flowing along the border between states. I don't want lax water regulation in Washington causing problems with crops here in Oregon, or vice versa. Water is part of the commons that we all own as citizens, and it is the proper role of government to protect people downstream from polluters upstream, is it not?
