people get the facts straight,1997-1999 grand prix gt's have 195 hp nd 220lbs ft.torque.then from 00-03 they upped the hp. to 200 nd 225lbs.ft. torque.all gtps from 97-03 has 240 horses nd 280 lb ft. of torque.i also own a gp gt.

out of the box a gt is a slower car, but if u were to supercharge it it would generate a little more power than the gtp's. this is from zzp's website for ss m90 ur L36.

On a stock L36 look for gains of 60+HP and 60+ ft/lbs of torque. If your GT is modified the gains will be larger. Because of the higher compression and longer rods the L36 will make 5% more HP and torque than an L67 with the same amount of boost.
Hey, I have a 2002 grand prix with 18" rims and in my opinion thats enough, it looks sick as hell but 20's were to big and you run a bigger risk or popping a tire or rubbing in the wheel well, which it did on mine. So in my opinion go with the 18's. You're sound system looks nice too, I have an alpine 12" sub and alpine amp with a custom box but that's all so far, what do you recomend next? I'm thinking under dash LED's but am starting to think thats ricing it up a little bit. hit me back

The Xbox 360 was a pain honestly, because I had to cut and bend some of the junk back there to get the 360 to fit, and also have room for the Power Supply Box/wires and all that.

its a working progress, but it looks nice. i loved the way you have the xbox, personally i go 4 looks not performance but thats why i have a 2nd car if i want perfomance (70 chevy nova) but since gas 4.31 the gall i think ill stick with the lucker for now.

Well you could spent all that money that you spent on apperence for under the hood, i think that woulda been alot better. The only thing I like on the car is the tips personally. Risking the passengers saftey for an Xbox 360's always a good idea 2...maybe in an accident the 360 will lodge itself into someones brain who your ridin with... LCD Screen, lambo doors, stock rims, non-leather seats....this just sounds like rice...tone it down and get a new GT/GTP and start the f over.

My Arctic White 98' GTP is fixed up the way you would approve of, with all the performance mods, not "Fucking it up" as you call this...

out of the box a gt is a slower car, but if u were to supercharge it it would generate a little more power than the gtp's. this is from zzp's website for ss m90 ur L36.
9. What will the gains be?
On a stock L36 look for gains of 60+HP and 60+ ft/lbs of torque. If your GT is modified the gains will be larger. Because of the higher compression and longer rods the L36 will make 5% more HP and torque than an L67 with the same amount of boost.

Hey, I have a 2002 grand prix with 18" rims and in my opinion thats enough, it looks sick as hell but 20's were to big and you run a bigger risk or popping a tire or rubbing in the wheel well, which it did on mine. So in my opinion go with the 18's. You're sound system looks nice too, I have an alpine 12" sub and alpine amp with a custom box but that's all so far, what do you recomend next? I'm thinking under dash LED's but am starting to think thats ricing it up a little bit. hit me back

I've had it in there for the longest time and it has'nt messed up yet.
I heard the Intercooler actually makes it worse, because it uses more power which generates more heat, but I dunno I'm sure there are mixed opinions on it.

I would personally get an in-dash monitor since you have a sunroof.
The Xbox 360 was a pain honestly, because I had to cut and bend some of the junk back there to get the 360 to fit, and also have room for the Power Supply Box/wires and all that.
Send me a message on my MySpace page and I'll send you a couple of pics of what I did, since I have the 360 out right now doing some fiberglass work.

Nah, I really would like to run against your gp. I just do things to my GT for the sake of show, nothing more. My GTP, though, I'm not going to do anything to it but since this video Ive put on tint, borla bat-back and just ordered a new hood for it. I dont really do anything but engine mods to it, so I'd really like to run against you and see what your gp's got.

No problems at all, just that the GM Headlights are crap! Simple fix though, just order you some new ones, but be sure and reseal them and hopefully you wont have any problems. The main thing is to just tale care of it, like most people neglect to do.

it'll probably overheat, but the installation won't matter. its simply the way the 360 is, red ring of death prone. I've got one that decided to go RROD a week before halo 3 came out. but it was still worth getting the 360.

Yes, the dash has I think 5 clips in it, start from one end and SLOWLY pull it away at an angle, and it'll eventually pop off.
Be careful not to break those little clips that hold it on....
As far as the paint goes, that's not a rattle can paint job.
I had someone make that dash for me using the abs plastic that the original dash pieces are made from.
I dont think he makes them anymore though, but I'll try to contact him for you and see if he's still around.
