its not that big of a deal the tones arent that emphasized in songs but since i think she was adjusting to sing good in mandarin that she must have forgotten or like not prioritized the tones.. and yes it does sound a bit more "pure" with the tones and at this moment it sounds like a decent to good performance.

I've known several Chinese in Cebu that wanted to accentuate their ethnic tongue. Sana Kim will continue pursuing her ethnic roots. Kung hindi, sayang talaga siya!
