1st rule of journalism: know all your questions practically by heart. That way, when your subject answers you, you're not looking down at your papers and when you ask the questions, you guessed it, you're still not looking down at your papers. If you MUST read your questions, at least use queue cards. Flapping your pages makes it look like you wrote the questions in the car on your way to the interview.

@JMoore4291 I`ll take it a step further and say that his eye contact and sincerity is way off.Someone should teach him to make and keep eye contact, listen, paraphrase.It`s very noticeable and it`s almost like brushing someone off.
