Would love to see the live clips from SRVMOE. Also at one point there was a very up tempo version of Close Your Eyes from the same session as Who Can I turn to. I can't find that one anymore either, but it was fantastic.
@markamarkemarki well there was no video it was only audio but it was incredible Pat was more articulate and smoking than I had ever head him and I have been listening to him since the late 1960's; at one time in early 70's I thought I had everything he ever recorded as leader & sideman, about 30 LP's, when I heard the Gene Ludwig clips realized I was apparently mistaken; SRVMOE took them all down!!
This is pre-anuerysm. You can tell the distinct difference in his playing. Here, Pat sounds more like Kenny Burrell, Wes or Grant Green and is very major-melodic. Post-surgery, his playing became unmistakable and his harmonic development became unmatched. A great player in either "era..." This trio smoked.

a YT poster named SRVMOE had some incredible live clips of Pat with Gene but pulled them all down! I beg you Mr. SRVMOE please put them back up!
