@iansmasterofasians9 Probably, he does have a bit more bulk to him. Though I'd still think it would be a close fight. If we're talking about a wizard duel, I really can't say.
sometimes i cant stand emmas emphasis on her words. i remember seeing sorcerers stone and thinking she faked her accent her words were so drawn out, seems like not much has changed.
Rupert stole this scene. He's a fantastic actor. It just pisses me off that everything is mostly about Dan and Emma. Rupert is an underrated actor and he deserves more credit.
@TheDrinkjuice Everything is mostly about Dan and Emma is because they are the darlings of the media (esp. Emma), I don't mean this in a nasty sense, mind you. Rupert (just like me!) is not as comfortable being in the public eye as compared to Dan and Emma, who are naturally outgoing, chatty, loquacious, extroverted individuals. That's the reality of today's world, I'm afraid. The more you are 'in the news', the more people are aware of you. But I don't think he minds that at all, to be honest.
@88narayandivya Yeah, I guess you are right. You can see that at Harry Potter movie premieres when the trio are standing together, Dan and Emma are mostly talking and laughing with eachother and they ignore Rupert. They probably know that he's quiet and don't want to freak him out with their loud personalities. They both love Rupert though. I especially like it when the trio give eachother group hugs.
Rupert is absolutely brilliant in this scene. Well, I always think that Rupert's acting is the best one out of three. So yea, there you go. He deserve some sort of award here.
I think this scene is one of the best acted of the whole movie. I hate the people are hating on Ron yes it was horrible what he sad to Harry but it's true, his parents are dead Hermione's are in Australia they are both out of the the battle . He has a large family that has a huge target on their back for being
"blood traitors" the horcrux has simply amplified the fears that the girl he loved more then himself loved his best friend. That is why I love Ron to me he is the most human
@kezza5 I would say the same thing if my family was in danger and somebody was trying to tell me That my feelings were wrong. I agree With Ron no matter what even though what he said was kind of harsh.
@23kendz yeah would have been even better had they actually used spells...i think Dan and Rupert where fantastic but emma could have been better honestly
@StartheSpark Well maybe...but I think the point is that Ron was thinking these things anyway and the Horcrux amplified them. It's supposed to feed on your own fears. If you have no fears, the Horcrux has no effect on you. It's kind of like weed -- if you're feeling stressed out before your smoke then weed sometimes can make you feel worse because it just brings those thoughts out into the open.
@jr8940 Well at least you acted more mature unlike that other person. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion so what is the big deal? I won't thrash you unless you thrash me, like making out my view is slanted or ridiculous etc. I know the obvious like everyone does but it's all different perspective.
@boffinme80 first ron has been loyal to harry more than fred and george its just that in gof ron was in his right mind he just thought that harry was trying to get attention becuz who harry is so he got mad.second in dh ron was just mad because he didnt know what was gonna happen to him, his friends , and his family so he got frustrated and the hocrux didnt help .third ron will get frustrasted and leave which only happened two times ,but in the end he will always be loyal to harry.
@jr8940 I get what boffinme80 is saying, all he's said is that Fred and George have never shown any disloyalty towards Harry whilst Ron has. Even though he wasn't intending to. Harry could never see that so in his mind he thinks Ron is being a prick, if you get my drift now. Ron's a great character but he can say things without realising it.
I think Fred and George are the only Weasley children that have been truly loyal to Harry. Not once have they turned against him. They believed he didn't put his name in the goblet of fire, they believed that Voldemort was back, they weren't too fussed about Harry's relationship with Ginny, etc. Ron is loyal most of the time but in GOF and here he just took it too far. Bill we don't know much about, Charlie we hardly ever see,Ginny ditched Harry and Percy was a back-stabbing traitor.
@boffinme80 First of all Ron was always loyal to Harry, yeah they had their problems but you can't compare Harry and Ron's relationship to the relationship Harry had with Fred and George. They weren't with Harry all the time, they didn't go into dangerous situations with Harry since day one.
@WhateverLife46 You don't need to sound so snobby. All I'm saying is that Fred and George have never had a disagreement or have fought or turned against Harry. Ron has always been loyal to Harry, but he's made some serious mistakes like here and in GOF he reckoned Harry was lying about putting his name in the goblet. I know Fred and George have not spent all that time with Harry but they believed he was telling the truth. If they believed him why didn't Ron? True best friends aren't like that.
@boffinme80 .....-_- Seriously? Ron Weasley is Harry's true best friend. I'm pretty sure in Ron's right mind (which he wasn't in) he knew that Harry didn't put his name in the Goblet.
@WhateverLife46 You're really starting to fucking piss me off now. You keep criticising my perspective whilst I am accepting yours and you act like I don't know anything about Harry Potter. I KNOW Ron is Harry's best friend BUT he made mistakes and if he knew Harry wasn't lying about the goblet, why didn't he stick up for him like he did in OOTP about Voldemort? THAT's where I'm getting at. I love the entire Weasley family but you need to stop acting like a bitch to me.
This is why I dislike Hermione/Ron. Harry is able to see what a great person Hermione is. "You're brilliant Hermione, truly!" Ron isn't even grateful. He hurt her in a dreadful way. I really can't see why she end up with him. I like Ron, I like Hermione, but I dislike them together.
@hhhhaaaish Ugh! You are a really shallow, mean person, judging somebody by their appearance. And I know you mean Daniel and Emma but do you mean as a couple or what?
@chopchop8916 hhhaaaish is extremely shallow and mean. You hit the nail on the head. She is also pretty psychotic. She goes around youtube making nasty, slanderous and delusional comments about famous people she doesn't like. After all the posts of hers I've seen I can safely say she has real mental issues that require some attention. Maybe she is neglecting her medication. Either way it's really pathetic for someone to act like she does.
You can't really blame Ron, for being angry and yelling - not saying it was wise, but I can see why.
Rons worst fear, is Hermione liking Harry over him, and her staying confirms that she does to him, and he misunderstood them earlier, walking together and stuff. Then he is wearing the Horcrux too, and his family could be dead for all he knows, and he can't help them. He must feel horrible.
What is truly sad about this scene when Ron says "You have no family!" is that since Hermione wiped her parents memories to not remember her, she technically has no family either. I highly doubt he took that into consideration though.
@gldnspectr no she technically does, the only thing she did was wipe their memories but it dont mean that theyre not family, they still have the same blood and flesh etc.
Yea u never really c rupert acting....well seriously without being afraid or making the audience laugh at sumthin...he truly played this mean scene perfectly...
This scene is amazing. I feel like the horcrux has nothing to do with this sometimes. I mean, I feel like the locket doesn't make someone angry, it shows and says what the person wearing it really feels. Kinda like how when people are drunk, they say things they would never say when they're sober. I think that's what the locket does, because what Ron said to Harry was something he's wanted to say for a long time. But, what Ron said was truly terrible and completely beyond rude. I feel for Harry.
@mspudds22 See the way Ron acts when he's wearing the locket? It affects him. It affects Harry too, earlier in the film he snaps at Hermione. It affects her the least. If one person was wearing it constantly, they'd probably be horrible and constantly snapping. They might even get to the point where they would kill each other. The reason they wear the locket is to keep it safe. If they leave it laying around or in a bag, it could easily be lost :)
@mspudds22 you never know. they wanted to be sure, and the only way was for them to wear it. maybe it would fall out or something. they couldn't afford losing it.
That would be the only time i'm glad that im not hermione (if all of this were real and not just a movie). Decide between your (secret) love and good friend and your other good friend.
@pa2593 this isnt the full scene, at the beggining Ron wakes up and Hermione cuts Harrys hair. The rest is fine but at the end, Ron ask Hermione if shes coming. But Hermione stays with Harry and Hermione trys to keep Ron with them.
i dont know how many times i must have went back to that one part harry:"you think im not listening too. you think i dont know how this feel!" Ron:"No you dont know how this feel your parents are dead you have no family" in the trailer that was always the thing that got me most excited Harry potter may have 'ended' to some but to the true fans it will live on forever
How come Hermione is the only one who feels both of their pain. Even though Harry doesnt have a family who cares about him, Hermione just pulls him in. Ron didnt really care about Harry nor Hermione in this scene. All he cared about is his family and his high expectations. I think Ron was stupid to wear that locket. Its makes me cry when i see Harry and Ron fight. Its makes me smile when Hermione trys to break it up. I like everything about Harry Potter. Harry Potter 4ever!!!
I feel so bad for Ron, I mean in his friends...and even in his family he's not one to really stand out, hes nt teh boy who lived, the smartest girl, the trouble making twins, the daughter his mother always wanted or even (atleast in the movies) a prefect turned head boy like percy =(
Okay.that scene just made me fall more deeply in love with Daniel even more.the way he was yelling at Rupert and then shoved him, turned me on.because seeing my boyfriend do that type of stuff, makes him more manlier and sexier.and that was my fave scene in the movie.
Wow, the acting in this scene just blows me away, from Dan, Emma, and Rupert. I was shocked by how well-acted it was. It could have easily been laughable had they not done as good of a job, but they completely sold it.
This was one of my favourite parts in the whole movie. Rupert did an AMAZING job in this scene, seriously. And have you notice, poor Hermione she´s like...she barely moves, she just spins her head and looks at him while he leaves. It´s a heartbreaking scene but it´s the most INCREDIBLE heartbreaking scene ever made.
Ron, he's much bigger than Harry is. In the book, Harry is a skinny little boy, he's not as muscular as he is in the movie. Ron gets fed great food everyday, Harry has to eat the crap the Dursleys give him, the only good food he gets is at Hogwarts, and during his 7th year, he's not at Hogwarts.
In addition, Ron is a Quidditch beater (i think), so he has to be strong, whereas Harry chases a Snitch.
the locket did quite a number to make Ron so paranoid about how Harry and Hermione spend time together.
Truth be told I was excited to see how this fallout scene would be portrayed in the film after reading the book and I wasn't disappointed. It was intense and dramatic. These kids have really matured and know how to fit into their characters.
Felt sooo bad for Hermione in this scene, forcing her to choose between the boys.
RUPERT GRIN'T AMAZING ACTING :') This was my favorite scene in DH pt 1 <3

This scene, literally breaks my heart.

I feel for Harry.

i don't understand why each of them have to wear the locket?
mspudds22 6 months ago
@mspudds22 See the way Ron acts when he's wearing the locket? It affects him. It affects Harry too, earlier in the film he snaps at Hermione. It affects her the least. If one person was wearing it constantly, they'd probably be horrible and constantly snapping. They might even get to the point where they would kill each other. The reason they wear the locket is to keep it safe. If they leave it laying around or in a bag, it could easily be lost :)
TheKristinaSims 6 months ago
@mspudds22 because the locket brings out the bad side of you. if you wear it too long, you'd become, like, evil. so they're taking turns.
Bookiee97 5 months ago
@Bookiee97 But they have to wear it at all Hermione could have just kept it in her bag
mspudds22 5 months ago
@mspudds22 you never know. they wanted to be sure, and the only way was for them to wear it. maybe it would fall out or something. they couldn't afford losing it.

i loved how they did this scene. grint, radcliffe and watson really pulled it off well :)

@pa2593 this isnt the full scene, at the beggining Ron wakes up and Hermione cuts Harrys hair. The rest is fine but at the end, Ron ask Hermione if shes coming. But Hermione stays with Harry and Hermione trys to keep Ron with them.
SwirlTownGurl264 6 months ago
i dont know how many times i must have went back to that one part harry:"you think im not listening too. you think i dont know how this feel!" Ron:"No you dont know how this feel your parents are dead you have no family" in the trailer that was always the thing that got me most excited Harry potter may have 'ended' to some but to the true fans it will live on forever
lxrossexl23 6 months ago

I do find it stupid though that they decided to wear when they didn't need to.

the locket did quite a number to make Ron so paranoid about how Harry and Hermione spend time together.
