Hmm, btw, I think Jack White needs to step up his game, since Elephant, he hasnt made anything that levels it... And he is great to look at as a drummer and suprises te ones who are used to him as a frontman.
Oasis, Nirvana and Babyshambles are all Sex Pistols playing Beatles songs then...

Punk as in old British punk like the Clash.
Even if i consider them more as an indie band than a punk band, "punk" fits them aswell, i reckon.
