Hi Jason, thanks for posting the video. Very easy to follow, short and to the point. We posted your video on our blog RealtyGo.wordpress - hope you don't mind. At the end of the video you say "so people are gunna do it, cause it's pretty easy to do" and really, we couldn't of said it better. Its just that simple. Thanks again RealtyGo Team
Sounds like interesting technology, but I am put off a bit, as just taking a snap of an image could lead you to a websites or information you may not want to go to at all, definitely could be viewed as unsafe by some and will no doubt lead to a virus being made by some teenager lol. I haven't really looked into the technology are there safeguards in place.
Thanks for posting this question.. While there will always be security concerns when people go to the internet (whether by clicking a link in an email, on a social media site, by scanning a QR Code, etc), one thing to keep in mind is this: When you scan a QR Code on your phone, nearly every app will show you what the URL is first. Thus, you are able to see the URL and make a decision before you actually visit the site on your phone.
A QR Code may not be the right fit for all efforts - it certainly depends on the audience, your mailer, etc.
As people become more attached to their smart phones, QR codes may be worth considering for some efforts though. Having a QR Code on flyers, billboards, signs, etc. may help to increase the success of those pieces. People on the go can simply pause and scan the QR Code, and then access the content whenever they'd like.
Good example! Good video!

Hi tele2002,
A QR Code may not be the right fit for all efforts - it certainly depends on the audience, your mailer, etc.
As people become more attached to their smart phones, QR codes may be worth considering for some efforts though. Having a QR Code on flyers, billboards, signs, etc. may help to increase the success of those pieces. Talk to you later,
Jason

Errr doesn't it take more effort to use a QRcode on your tiny mobile device than using their PC/Laptop to type in a web address?
