It's been shown the average person who exercises only benefits from 32g of protein anymore and your just wasting it muscle milk has the perfect servings. If your not a body builder or conditioning for pro sports muscle milk is a great tasting choice. As to the fats there's nothing wrong with them for some strange reason people take avoiding them to crazy levels. It's natural to eat them quit worrying unless you get copious amounts from your other meals. There is a fat used in muscle milk that's
Hey guys thanks for the Vid. I'm still a little confuse though. I'm trying to loose weight. And everyone keeps saying eat small portions every three hours but I just can't do it I'm never hungry enough to eat like that and when I am I eat a lot I guess. So what I'm trying to say is, if my daily meal routine is Coffee in the morning. Salad for lunch and cereal for dinner. When do I fit muscle milk in my schedule?
@palkia117 a whey isolate would be much better, we are not big on Muscle Milk. If you can go with a Cross Flow Microfiltered whey isolate. Hope this helps.
its like that guy on the lefts hand is the tail of a beached whale and its flaping it tryna get off the beach... for some reson that cunt really got to me annoying shit

I'm looking for the best possible results with bulking up, and gaining muscle. Should I stick with Muscle milk, or are there any other supplements I can use to better benefit my workout?
@TheFeralHuntard you can use it however we are not big on the protein and fat sources in muscle milk. You can go with a good whey or a weight gainer for extra calories. We have a video on how to gain weight / how to gain muscle that can be found on our YouTube home page. This video should help and if after watching you have questions feel free to ask and we will answer. Hope this helps.
@dmjones9 CNP is tested by WADA so its beyond NCAA compliant. Allmax is a very good company who would not put anything banned in a weight gainer as they have far too much to lose by doing so, many products are NCAA compliant but do not have the connections or money Cytosport does (owned by Pepsi) to have the NCAA endorse their products.
hey i was wondering if wheybolic extreme 60 would help me lose weight i gained 10 pounds due to an ankle injury but i have no problem working out but will that help me lose weight or will it get me fatter.
@YungProdigy93 it can however there are lower calorie protein powders that are higher quality as this overpriced. If you need specific help with your diet feel free to PM us and we can help.
@BestPriceNutrition Im a college football player and I want to know what would be the best mass gainer for me to take that goes by the ncaa rules on supplements?
@dmjones9 there are some good ones to choose from. Some good examples include Allmax QuickMass and CNP Professional Pro Peptide MBF as they both have good carb to protein ratios. Hope this helps.
@12345grandman Monster Milk is still lacking in total protein relative to it's price as it has a fair amount of cheap fat and carbs. It does have 3g of creatine monohydrate which is good however an equivalent size whey protein and an equal amount of creatine is far cheaper and the protein source is superior.
I AM LACTOSE INTOLERANT..... is there any thing lactose free that could give me better protein than musclemilk??? i am 6'1" 160 lb and i wana get BIG! i do find muscle milk is filling and it makes eating 3500 calories a day difficult i am still a noob only been lifting for about two months have any ADVICE??? iv tried lactase and other digestive aids ..to dissipointing results..
@goonsquad20 look for a pure whey protein isolate such as Allmax Isoflex or Natures Best Isopure. These both are lactose free and are not filling at all so you can eat plenty if calories to gain in addition to these. Hope this helps.
um other than muscle milk i belive the NAKED "Protein Zone" brand of protein shakes are lactose free but arent in powder form. I get very bad stomach aches with other protein shakes someone told me because im lactose intolerant (that's bullshit i drink tons of milk eat cottage cheese plenty dairy daily) but alot of protein powders are very concentrated and have tons of lactose causing me food poisoning... so i guess thats what did it for me and im not even lactose intolerant :/
@BestPriceNutrition Can you guys review Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein Powder? I believe this to be the least expansive protein drink out in the market right now. I rely on this product because I am a poor college student but I figure whey protein is still whey protein and it is just a matter of how much processing the whey protein went through it self.
@HCNguyen86 if you compare it to whey isolate it is not as good, however it will do the job for you. Keep in mind it has creatine monohydrate added to it as well (not a bad thing just may be something you want to cycle off of from time to time).
I took muscle milk after some of my workouts. I definitely gained size but i feel as if i could've gained it faster. I'm currently going to try the amp wheybolic extreme 60 which i've heard better feeback from. From the nutritional facts, I 'm much more pleased with Wheybolic than muscle milk.
Muscle milk--32g protein = 19g carbs, 310 calories, 12g TOTAL FAT
Wheybolic--60g protein = 7g carbs, 280 calories, 1g TOTAL FAT
@xee00 most whey protein powders will have a better profile than MM. Amp Wheybolic is overpriced whey with some free form amino acids thrown in. You can save a lot of money on other whey proteins. Muscle Milk is filled with rancid fats and one should avoid it for that reason on top of the fact you really do not get much protein per container.
@BestPriceNutrition i do agree that it is a bit overpriced but i'm willing to try something new. From what my peers say, wheybolic produces. It was $40 for a container. But really i'm willing to go with anything new. The one thing that really turned me off from MM was the how much sugar and fat was contained in it. If you don't mind, what whey would you say would be the best bang for my buck?
@xee00 there are quite a few in the whey category that will fit the bill. The main thing to consider is the type of whey (isolate vs. concentrate) and within in the isolates the filtering that was used. Typically Cross Flow Microfiltration (CFM) is best and is also the most expensive, for example Allmax Isoflex is a CFM isolate, however they also make a cheaper islolate/concentrate blend All Whey which is cheaper (still good). Optimum 100% Whey Gold Std is another iso/comc blend. Hope this helps
ive been using muscle milk for about a month and i have seen no changes at all :| i am a hard gainer but it tastes digusting i feel blouted the orange creme flavour i take it post workout right away idk what i am doing wrong
@gameradoz try something with more carbs instead of the fats. If you are trying to gain weight look for a calorie dense shake such as Allmax QucikMass.
@gameradoz If you're skinny and you're trying to gain wegiht and muscle mass, you can't just rely on Muscle Milk and eating regularly... You're going to have to eat alot more. I gained 35 pounds in 2 months simply by eating brown rice, whole wheat bread, chicken, steak, pasta, nuts, fruits, potatoes and all kinds of vegtibles (even the ones I don't like) all day everyday... My stomach was full at all times, if I wasn't hungry I ate anyways. Worked out 3 times a week and lifted heavy. That's it.
@DivinityOfDoom with me im skinny. My 5'8 129lbs... now i have a fast matablism so would i need to eat alot more than usual even though my body breaks it down faster... im working out 5 times a week for 30-1hr... i just started working out so how long would it take for the muscle milk to kick in?
@AMNESIA310 I'm not sure how long it'll take for it to kick in, I did drink a 12oz serving with both breakfast and dinner everyday for 2 months and gained all the weight that I did while working out and eating ALOT... Like seriously eat eat eat. I forgot to mention tuna, that was a big part of my diet as well... I was 6' 160lbs and now I'm 185 it's awesome. I still eat alot and I can't seem to gain more weight then that but it's cool.
What were you taking for your fats? you said a tablespoon of some oil. and is Isoflex good for a standard protein? I take proto whey for my post workout but need a more slower releasing protein that isn't casein just to drink in the day.
@theblackestnight you can use Flora Udo's oil or if you prefer capusles go with Minami Nutrition Omega 3 Platinum. We have a video on Minami fish oils which have an array of health benefits. Hope this helps.
@RazzleDazzle2340 watch our video on the Consumer Reports we explain the hyperbole in it and showing that things like spinach have more heavy metals. These metals exist in soil and our environment and trace amounts of some are needed for our bodies to function properly.
I was thinking of switching from gnc AMP wheyobolic 60 to Monster Milk would you recomend this becuase it seems moster milk has a lot more in it than AMP
@pigcow52 we would not recommend either one, as both are overpriced. Monster Milk is loaded with carbs and far which would be fine if it were priced accordingly. Wheybolic AMP is overpriced whey protein.
@h123wars1 ok just found it, Jarrow makes it. It's OK assuming its sold at a decent price. The problem is they say it's a low sugar drink but the first two carbs on the label are fructose (fruit sugar) and maltodextrin (a high glycemic index disaccharide). So again it's OK, nothing ground breaking.
@BestPriceNutrition, hey guys good review. I use VPX Zero Carb Choc and it tastes great. I'd like to see a review on this one. I do add strawberries or banana but as far a muscle milk goes it just not worth it. Yeah it tastes great but that's about it. They are ripping people off with the fillers. VPX is straight protein and it tastes really good too.
ive been hearing a lot of bad stuff about this. but dont take it unless your a dedicated lifter, heavy lifting, etc. if you just take to take walks around your block i dont recommend it. it does have long term affects that take years to even damage you, but theres really nothing to worry about. they mention splenda alot, but its just like asperthame sugar in soda, lots of bad side-affects that nobody ever gets. i do recommend muscle milk. i use monster milk now, but get bigger first
Does mm really make you gain weight?? I just bought this crap because I heard you need protein to build muscle, but I'm trying to get lean, not bulky. I do run at least 4 miles, 3 or 4 times weekly, plus weight train in between my running days. Should I be concerned about gaining weight??? Plus, what's up with the metal I keep reading about in mm??!!
@masanchez34 whether it causes you to gain weight or not is relative to the amount of calories you take in, now this powder does pack more calories per serving than most protein powders due to the added fats. As far as the metals, we did a video on the Consumer Reports story outlining the hyperbole in it and showing that things like spinach have more heavy metals. These metals exist in soil and our environment and trace amounts of some are needed for our bodies to function properly.
I Heard The Product Syntha 6 Is Not All Natural .. Is That True ? Thanks .. Cause I Bought Some And I Dont Want Anything Bad To Go On.. Im A Teen So Yeahh >. < Thanks
@itorres91 not sure what you mean by all natural, if you are referring to the sweeteners, then yes Syntha-6 and many others for that matter use artificial sweeteners.
@HEMAN4693 this is not true as the Consumer Reprts article was filled with hyperbole. Check out our video on the specific report as we point things like spinach have more heavy metals than protein powders.
@ErikVaughnDillinger the point about these heavy metals is that they exist in soil and we do need trace amounts of them. the amount in spinach and some protein powders for that matter is so minute that it does not matter. Check out our video on the Consumer Reports article.
so weird question... Im a folkstyle wrestler, and i heard that if you cut youre food consumption a bit it causes youre muscle to develop faster it sounds totally stupid but i was wondering is that true?
@brazileiro2010 that does not make sense so your suspicion is confirmed about it being stupid. For muscle to grow you need protein which muscles are made of, however you also needs carbs and fat for energy (and hormone production and other biological functions), these will keep your body from burning your protein for energy. Now the amount of calories from these macro nutrients relative to your activity level will dictate whether you gain or lose weight. Hope this helps.
i use muscle milk. it was working well for a good 2 weeks. i could see results easily. but after drinking it for tweek. you will begin to gag. which is why im going to transfer to dark matter
@BestPriceNutrition Do you know if Muscle Milk still contains heavy metals and FDA concerning ingredients? Cant seem to find an answer anywhere. Thanks
@kailontop if you adjusted your diet to accommodate the extra calories you could, however we recommend you get those calories from food and go with a lower calorie protein powder.
BTW You guys do great reviews thanks - I think Muscle Milk should be under a different categor though, I see it as more of a meal replacement. Whilst It being a high protein blend also - I'd only drink MM outside of my training windows, Plus if your cutting this is still a great product as the quality of protein is good, as well as it being low in carbs and high in MCT's. They market this as a similar formula to human milk, am i wrong?
@ MLQ45 100% Whey Protein means that it's entirely all Whey Protein and not blended with other protein types. There is no such thing as 100% protein in a supplement regardless of protein type. This product would be great for a before bed type supplement to supply slow release protein throughout the night. Whey Isolates are great for a Post-Training nutritional supplement.
@MLQ45 my buddy got this protein so i followed suit, according to servings the costco brand has double the grams of total protein. sounds like a good deal and definitely tastes great. plus if you compare the nutritional facts it has less sugar and less carbs if not the same.
@gaoussou6 whey protein will most likely mix in with the oatmeal better and you will get more protein per serving assuming you are taking a whey protein with low carbs and low fat.
I've heard rumors that Muscle Milk contains MSG, or a derivative of MSG, which is bad for the health. If this is true, I'm quite dissapointed, since I find the product great. Can someone confirm whether this is true or not?
I'm not a die hard gym nut but i want to find out what might be a good jump off protein for me. I'd rather have lean, toned muscles than bulky ones, if that helps.
@austinmsmc Go with a Whey Protein Blend which is the best of both worlds. Usually blends contain both Isolates and Casein among other types so you get quick absorption protein from the Isolates (Ideal for Post-Training) as well as the slow release Casein (Ideal for Bed-time/Overnight nutrition while you sleep).
Remember to drink lots of water and have a proper nutrition (well balanced diet). Plus a multi-vitamine is essential for everyone, not just athletes.
i really like this stuff. I take it more as a meal replacement with skim milk. it tastes great, and with my diet i have stayed very lean and ripped on it. 6'2'' 185. its easy to drink as much as youre supposed to because it tastes good. i recommend to anyone new to protien, but not super serious about it. Its just good to have.
seriously, and I'm not kidding as someone who's been in the supplement industry for 3 yrs, Muscle MIlk is probably the worst protein supplement you can buy. With the exception of it tasting good, there's 0 good things to say about it. Most of the cals come from fats...need i say more?
@sokaboy12311 not sure, we were pretty shocked as well. To be clear they discontinued the Original 42 packs and the Myoplex Deluxe. People like the convenience of it in the envelopes and it tastes good. Also people like the texture of it. As far as the protein quality, its OK.
Hi i am about 71kg in weight, 182cm in height. i just got the muscle milk before i was able to check this video out. am not looking to be buffed up but just have a nice lean build body. in other words well built with curves. what do you advice i should do.
@slimshaidi use up the Muscle Milk since you have it. Try getting about 2g of protein per Kg of body weight, assuming you are working out regularly and intensely you can try getting the same amount of carbohydrates (~2g/Kg of body weight) and try to get 0.75g of fat/Kg of body weight. Take you measurements and body fat % if possible before starting and after 8 weeks. If you are not leaning out, cut your carbs down to 1g/Kg of body weight. Hope this helps.
@tropicthunderdancers not sure what you are referring to?? There are many varieties of Muscle Milk, none that we are aware of that are 100% Whey Protein. Perhaps are you referring to CytoSport Complete Whey?
@tropicthunderdancers ahhh, gotcha. That's not Muscle Milk as far as what we carry, rather that's something only sold in the mass market (CostCo etc...). they may call it Muscle Milk for name recognition but everyone knows Muscle Milk to be whey and casein protein blend with carbs and fat. They don't even list it on their site. Our guess is they took Complete Whey and labeled it as Muscle Milk for the mass market. Sorry for the confusion.
So is this drink go if im trying to put on weight

@theblackestnight you can use Flora Udo's oil or if you prefer capusles go with Minami Nutrition Omega 3 Platinum. We have a video on Minami fish oils which have an array of health benefits. Hope this helps.

Wait in consumer reports it said that it kills brain cells and has heavy metal toxins.
RazzleDazzle2340 6 months ago
@RazzleDazzle2340 watch our video on the Consumer Reports we explain the hyperbole in it and showing that things like spinach have more heavy metals. These metals exist in soil and our environment and trace amounts of some are needed for our bodies to function properly.

I was thinking of switching from gnc AMP wheyobolic 60 to Monster Milk would you recomend this becuase it seems moster milk has a lot more in it than AMP
pigcow52 7 months ago
@pigcow52 we would not recommend either one, as both are overpriced. Monster Milk is loaded with carbs and far which would be fine if it were priced accordingly. Wheybolic AMP is overpriced whey protein.

h123wars1 7 months ago
@h123wars1 ok just found it, Jarrow makes it. It's OK assuming its sold at a decent price. The problem is they say it's a low sugar drink but the first two carbs on the label are fructose (fruit sugar) and maltodextrin (a high glycemic index disaccharide). So again it's OK, nothing ground breaking.

@h123wars1 who makes muscle optimeal? We are not familiar with it, unless you are referring to a the one Optimum used to make which is discontinued.

VPX is straight protein and it tastes really good too.

ive been hearing a lot of bad stuff about this. but dont take it unless your a dedicated lifter, heavy lifting, etc. if you just take to take walks around your block i dont recommend it. it does have long term affects that take years to even damage you, but theres really nothing to worry about. they mention splenda alot, but its just like asperthame sugar in soda, lots of bad side-affects that nobody ever gets. i do recommend muscle milk. i use monster milk now, but get bigger first
kevincarfreak 7 months ago
Does mm really make you gain weight?? I just bought this crap because I heard you need protein to build muscle, but I'm trying to get lean, not bulky. I do run at least 4 miles, 3 or 4 times weekly, plus weight train in between my running days. Should I be concerned about gaining weight??? Plus, what's up with the metal I keep reading about in mm??!!
masanchez34 7 months ago
@masanchez34 whether it causes you to gain weight or not is relative to the amount of calories you take in, now this powder does pack more calories per serving than most protein powders due to the added fats. As far as the metals, we did a video on the Consumer Reports story outlining the hyperbole in it and showing that things like spinach have more heavy metals. These metals exist in soil and our environment and trace amounts of some are needed for our bodies to function properly.

Is whey a really good powder mix? If not whatd a cost-effective powder mix that works for a highschool lineman
fluffyholland 7 months ago
@fluffyholland whey protein is a very good type of protein that is easy to digest, specifically whey protein isolates.

@itorres91 not sure what you mean by all natural, if you are referring to the sweeteners, then yes Syntha-6 and many others for that matter use artificial sweeteners.

muscle milk has heavy metals and arsenic(which is deadly) in it so dont take it!
HEMAN4693 8 months ago
@HEMAN4693 this is not true as the Consumer Reprts article was filled with hyperbole. Check out our video on the specific report as we point things like spinach have more heavy metals than protein powders.
BestPriceNutrition 8 months ago
@BestPriceNutrition weight.. spinach has arsenic acid?... fuck!
ErikVaughnDillinger 8 months ago
@HEMAN4693 fuuuck, I took it twice.. im glad you said that though. Fuck that shit im not drinking that crap anymore. Thank you
ErikVaughnDillinger 8 months ago
@ErikVaughnDillinger the point about these heavy metals is that they exist in soil and we do need trace amounts of them. the amount in spinach and some protein powders for that matter is so minute that it does not matter. Check out our video on the Consumer Reports article.
BestPriceNutrition 8 months ago
so weird question... Im a folkstyle wrestler, and i heard that if you cut youre food consumption a bit it causes youre muscle to develop faster it sounds totally stupid but i was wondering is that true?
brazileiro2010 9 months ago
@brazileiro2010 that does not make sense so your suspicion is confirmed about it being stupid. For muscle to grow you need protein which muscles are made of, however you also needs carbs and fat for energy (and hormone production and other biological functions), these will keep your body from burning your protein for energy. Now the amount of calories from these macro nutrients relative to your activity level will dictate whether you gain or lose weight. Hope this helps.

They market this as a similar formula to human milk, am i wrong?
xrisp 10 months ago
@xrisp no they really market it based on taste. and the fat is really in there because its cheap and makes them more money.
BestPriceNutrition 9 months ago
@ MLQ45 100% Whey Protein means that it's entirely all Whey Protein and not blended with other protein types. There is no such thing as 100% protein in a supplement regardless of protein type. This product would be great for a before bed type supplement to supply slow release protein throughout the night. Whey Isolates are great for a Post-Training nutritional supplement.
kparker1145 10 months ago
i am doing transformation and also taking this product will it help me in fat burn ????
tanujbhar 10 months ago
Is it the same as cytosport muscle milk 100% whey protein? I got it from costco.
MLQ45 10 months ago
@MLQ45 no this product is not 100% whey protein, they are different products made by the same company.
BestPriceNutrition 10 months ago
@MLQ45 my buddy got this protein so i followed suit, according to servings the costco brand has double the grams of total protein. sounds like a good deal and definitely tastes great. plus if you compare the nutritional facts it has less sugar and less carbs if not the same.
luvz2sploogeify 10 months ago
So great product for bulking up?
gaoussou6 10 months ago
@gaoussou6 not necessarily. Ideally you want a shake with carbs too as that will help you gain weight.
BestPriceNutrition 10 months ago
@BestPriceNutrition I eat a lot of oatmeal and i play soccer i run a lot...So what should i go with this or whey protein gold standard?
gaoussou6 10 months ago
@gaoussou6 whey protein will most likely mix in with the oatmeal better and you will get more protein per serving assuming you are taking a whey protein with low carbs and low fat.
BestPriceNutrition 10 months ago
@BestPriceNutrition How would you compare this product to BSN True Mass???
christopherchung1 9 months ago
@gaoussou6 100% whey gold standard, your best off buying and using Syntha-6, athletes protein

I've heard rumors that Muscle Milk contains MSG, or a derivative of MSG, which is bad for the health. If this is true, I'm quite dissapointed, since I find the product great. Can someone confirm whether this is true or not?
PhysStud2006 10 months ago
I'm not a die hard gym nut but i want to find out what might be a good jump off protein for me. I'd rather have lean, toned muscles than bulky ones, if that helps.
austinmsmc 10 months ago
@austinmsmc Go with a Whey Protein Blend which is the best of both worlds. Usually blends contain both Isolates and Casein among other types so you get quick absorption protein from the Isolates (Ideal for Post-Training) as well as the slow release Casein (Ideal for Bed-time/Overnight nutrition while you sleep).
Remember to drink lots of water and have a proper nutrition (well balanced diet). Plus a multi-vitamine is essential for everyone, not just athletes.
Cheers!

i really like this stuff.

Hi i am about 71kg in weight, 182cm in height. i just got the muscle milk before i was able to check this video out. am not looking to be buffed up but just have a nice lean build body. in other words well built with curves. what do you advice i should do.
thanks alot in advance
slimshaidi 1 year ago
@slimshaidi use up the Muscle Milk since you have it. Try getting about 2g of protein per Kg of body weight, assuming you are working out regularly and intensely you can try getting the same amount of carbohydrates (~2g/Kg of body weight) and try to get 0.75g of fat/Kg of body weight. Take you measurements and body fat % if possible before starting and after 8 weeks. If you are not leaning out, cut your carbs down to 1g/Kg of body weight. Hope this helps.
BestPriceNutrition 1 year ago
How come you did just that Muscle milk and not of the new one they have of 100% whey with 27 grams of protein ion each scoop?
tropicthunderdancers 1 year ago
@tropicthunderdancers not sure what you are referring to?? There are many varieties of Muscle Milk, none that we are aware of that are 100% Whey Protein. Perhaps are you referring to CytoSport Complete Whey?
BestPriceNutrition 1 year ago
@BestPriceNutrition nope. Word for word it says... 100% whey concentrated and isolated whey protein. i get it at Costco and its a 6 pound bag.
tropicthunderdancers 1 year ago
@tropicthunderdancers ahhh, gotcha. That's not Muscle Milk as far as what we carry, rather that's something only sold in the mass market (CostCo etc...). they may call it Muscle Milk for name recognition but everyone knows Muscle Milk to be whey and casein protein blend with carbs and fat. They don't even list it on their site. Our guess is they took Complete Whey and labeled it as Muscle Milk for the mass market. Sorry for the confusion.
