Well, I don't accept Clark's destiny and he always did the same until season 8/9. That annoys me... He completely changed! He was perfect in the first seasons but then in the later ones his character was totally different and he wasn't that friendly boy anymore like in the beginning... Plus I miss that small town atmosphere. Everything was so nice and careless! But now... it's all about Superman.
Clana is high school. Clois is after high school & into the real world. the producer has always want Clois to be together since season 4 even before lois came in the show. but warner bro.was developing superman return so Clois was being restricted in smallville until after superman return release that was season 8 Clois. Clana was meant to end in season 5. bcuzz of the restriction the writer had no choice but to focus clark back to lana then lex lana. until Clois begin.

@audreyflow152 Personally I disagree, I think that Clark's love for Lana certainly would've slowed things down with Lois but I reckon they would've got there in the end even if Lana hadn't become human kryptonite. Ever since Lois arrived the writers have been giving not so subtle hints that Clark was falling for her. Like I said, he definitely loved Lana so that's probably why it took him so long to realize it but he's been falling for Lois since day 1. I should say, I'm not a Clana hater.

@audreyflow152 Personally I disagree, I think that Clark's love for Lana certainly would've slowed things down with Lois but I reckon they would've got there in the end even if Lana hadn't become human kryptonite. Ever since Lois arrived the writers have been giving not so subtle hints that Clark was falling for her. Like I said, he definitely loved Lana so that's probably why it took him so long to realize it but he's been falling for Lois since day 1. I should say, I'm not a Clana hater.
