Okay here is a little story that just happened to me:

I sat on my bike at a traffic light and this song starts playing on my mp3 player.

And right at the 0:55 mark the traffic light turns green.

Never started that fast with my bike before xD

That traffic light became 20% cooler in my book that moment. (I hate those things normally^^)

This is definitely my favorite brony song. Everything about it feels like a race. I can imagine the first 28 seconds as Captain Falcon walking to his Blue Falcon. The stands of crowds around him are watching everyone get ready. There wasn't a "3... 2... 1... GO!" but I feel like the notes at 0:53 say that without having the announcer say it. 1:53 "YOU GOT BOOST POWER!" 3:19 "YEAH! THE FINAL LAP!" 3:49, It feels like I've just crossed the finish line but keep going casually

Great song, definitely a bit more F-Zero than Extreme-G--but then I mostly recall the more industrial stuff off Extreme-G anyway :)

I'm going with what Fordarz said... Balloons in my Basket was a definite possible choice for best song of 2011, and you have REALLY got me rocking out with this song. Right at about 1:54, the sounds you used reminded me of Super Monkeyball 2, which was a very very pleasant surprise.

This just totally rocks man. I again do not have words to describe how happy this song's making me. All I can say is this is definitely going in my Master playlist.

You are the second person to tell me this song reminded them of Super Monkey Ball 2 XD

I didn't know why until I listened to some of the songs, and at the same time found out that it was made by the same development team as F-Zero GX, came out in the same year, and had at least one of the same composers involved. Since GX's soundtrack was an influence for this song, guess Monkey Ball is too. Crazy coincidence!

Also, again, I'm really happy with what you've got here. I had gone on a music spree and added a lot of new songs to my pony playlist last night and listend to them all day, but Pegadrome kept going on repeat. I really like it a lot.

Where Vangelis' work evokes a feeling of triumphant jubilation only to be found at the precipice of victory, your piece is broader in scope, brilliantly incorporating more modern electronic motifs to capture the ineffable emotion of transient exuberance experienced in the moment of competition.
