great atmosphere, but pretty sure for 95% of them that was their first time watching a socceroos match. so many people jumped on the bandwagon in 06.

@hochsr yeah I was one to jump on the bandwagon. My first time to watch any soccer match let alone a Socceroo's one was the Uruguay qualifier. With an atmosphere like that you cannot help but get on board. Plus I hated hearing those Uruguayian players saying it was their 'divine right' to be in the world cup and disregarding Australia as any sort of threat to them. I tuned in to hopefully see their asses get caned but I got a game that exceeded my expectations 1000 folds. It was pure magic.
