@SuperMrRain this is not the U20, its the U10 its the very 1st gen its really not the best. but maybe the way you're shooting vids? I see no reason to use higher bit cards that may or not be allowed for hte cam, have weever thought of that? people want class10. no comment

yes I know its U10 not U20 which make the case more crazier for me , I am using U20, so it supposed to be much better than U10 , u can chek my channel to see how the video quality is very poor specialy in low light , but it looks pretty good in sun lights , u said its because the way i am shooting , ok can u explain how this effects the video quality , thanks for answering.

Well, at the beginning that must have been one of the craziest reviews that I have ever seen. but after the bench scene, it way way more interesting and telling than any other review.

While driving, I thought the Samsung would be much better because of the nicer colours - but in front of the store front windows and the street, it was just crap compared to the Kodak Zi8. So thank you for that decision making video! Great!

I just got U10 and it's epic waste of money! Videos aren't so bad under good lighting, but if the light is not good it makes very bad videos! And quality of the photos is extremely bad! Phones with 3 MP makes better pics than this crap.

It is cheap, but it is wasted money!

My advice to all who want's to take U10, please don't!!!

@mlsivanovic that is why they call it a pc low budget cam. I agree with you. the 1st edition that came out is of issues, after that they were improved. but still not the best. it does the job like all others in daylight.

I love the camera, it looks nice and performs really well in good light conditions, I don't recommend it in low lights but yeah check it out (/watch?v=QmV_FsdrHFk) I filmed it in 720p at 60fps which I believe is when it performs at it's best (:

The U10 is slightly better than the Kodak.. I know it doesn't perform under low light levels but it has better sound quality and movement is less blurred, I know this from experience as I've bought both camcorders and have preferred the U10 because it's better quality outdoors, I never used the camcorders at night or in dark places because I'm a free runner and I'm always outside in the afternoon light as hell so there's no need... and look at the prices (Kodak: £119.99 vs U10: £79.99)

The Zi8 definitely outdoes the U10 in low light (a frequent complaint in shoot-and-share cameras), but I would argue that brighter is not necessarily better, but that's getting into very subjective territory. I like the "yell" demonstration (where the Samsung seemed to excel.

Thank you very much for the demonstration; it may not have been thorough, but it focused on the two less-discussed areas of performance, and that's merit.

In daylight the u10 beats the kodak in any situation.

The kodaks audio is terrible in comparison to the samsungs.

However the Samsung is beaten by the kodak in low light-but never on sound quality

Which of the two has the most realistic colors? Kodak is known for a very high saturation level as its standard, and Samsung is known for catching the colors more natural, but in this particular video that didn't seem to be the case.

I guess it's the price difference as well. At these cameras, you get more if you pay more.

I bought this camp and returned it because it has verry poor quality when filming in less then full daylight. You wont be able to get better image with firmware updates since the lense is verry small and it dont let in that mutch light.

Samsungs mics are a better distributed stereo internal mic, wile kodak is a mono single mic and external port in stereo.

a mod can get you internal stereo but modifying the cam and body is your decision and skill.

your lighting of the bench was NOT done with the EXACT same light. you can tell. You haveto use the exact same lightig whe testing. You moved/changed the lighting when doin the kodak
