This wasn't a flash mob. It was organised dancing in the square.

Flash mob is surprising, unexpected, slightly shocking. People are dressed in ordinary clothes, with more apparently ordinary onlookers and ordinary people joining in from the 'crowd' as the music progresses.

This was dancing to a dance tune, with dancers dressed in dance kit. still catchy though. But not flash.
