No crtedit. I only knew about this, after ElevatorsOnly responded to this video, telling me it was on the local news 3 days ago.

I take it, now that the story went natinal, it was shown over there, huh?

(Some Google searches did point this fact out, that some national chains played the video.)

I see another 120 hits. Odd, because the TWO times the Chronicle Elevator piece ran, I didn't get nearly as many hits. This is not the way I'd like them, though.

It's not necessary, as soon after the Down trip starts, the gap is clearly visible.

I'm wondering if what you saw was them riding the escalator? BZ has been known to do odd things like this to give a better feel for the story.

@georgef551 The child didn't die. Also, they did their own video, and then shown your video. (It showed the youtube page.)

He did die. The story is outdated. When they broike the story, the child was still in serious condition, but died today. WCVB and others have the updated story. They'll probably mention it on the 6:30 newscast.

I think it's the glass railings that need to be added to, if there's a gap wide enough for a kid to slide through.

I think it's nothing more than a bad accident.

I did notice a spike in views on this video, after looking at Insight.
