Hi, I got a strat and I need help with it. one of the pickups, the last one, does not work, though sometimes out of the blue it would.. but mostly the guitar dosnt give out a sound when set on that pickup. Can you guide me how to solve this issue..
hi, thanks god i found this vid, hey i wanted to get up my guitar pick ups but i messed up and the screw got out so the pick up´is now under and i dont know ehat do do, please help me, what can i do, any advice? i hope you answer
dude get the pick guard off; Fender Strats have a pick guard that is wired with the pickups so its where everything is screwed on to. Just unscrew the pickguard and re-assemble the pickup that fell. Hop I helped, =]
I just lowered the middle pickup on one of my old guitars almost all the way, and i dont plan to use it so it doesnt matter how it sounds (Just using the 2 humbuckers). so my question is: will this disturb the other pickups and/or something else?. Thanks.
I was completley re painting my guitar and when i took it apart i lost one of the springs on my third pickup ao i think i'm going to try using a spring out of a pen, they look like they mite work if i can get a big enough one
my bridge pickup is kinda too high i think cause it gets in the way , i hit it with my pick sometimes, so I would wanna lowwer it so it doesn't annoy me anymore. My question is should i also lowwer the other pickups to the same height to not mess up my sound?
i unscrewed my pickup guard for cleaning purposes.. and i also unscrewed the pickup screw because i didn knew that much about the inside of a guitar ,.. so when i screwed the whole thing together again i was having different volume and sounds on the neck middle and the lower one .. i was adjusting the whole three pickups for eight hours . still ma middle pickup sounds more heavier than the neck. what should i do !

Every time I see him I want to punch his face.
It looks like it would be fun.
Its nothing personal I hold against him.
I just want to do it.

I´ve spend 3 years of adjusting the pickup height, till I get it done right!!!
It´s not so easy as it seems....
The small changes makes the big differences!!!!
If you need help, don´t hesitate to contact me.

Just use a VU meter (the ones on a mixer work just fine)...saves me tons of time.
