Interesting that this guy has no respect for the private property of the Catholic Church when he illegally trespassed and squatted on their property, but he feigns indignation that the Philly police won't protect his OWn private property. Hypocrisy.
The catholic church in this instance was incredibly out of line of the gospel, and it was their right as followers of Christ to step over those laws, as the apostles in the book of acts say "we are to obey Gods laws, not men".
Please understand the morality of these two situations are incredibly different
The "church" doesn't belong to any one group of people. You would know that if you truly followed Christ. Any house of God has only one landlord and it is God. Jesus himself was homeless, do you think the Catholic church would like to turn away the only son of God? We live in a disgusting, selfish, greedy society in which people believe they own things and choose not to help their fellow man. Instead they take all for themselves, saving up I suppose, to have more than the next person. God Bless.
