This car is a piece of $h it...watch out for the fender wells falling onto the road...took out my fender ,bumper...went back to dealer and they blamed me for it...said it was road hazard i must of hit something...you idiot...insurance paying for i $2300 bucks...this is the last chev product i ever own...Riverview Chev Olds ..in Grandfalls Windsor NL
there is nothing "new" and there is no efficiency since a car stills burns gas, now the future generations have to pay what old consumists people did to the planet, please "BIG BRAND COMPANIES" get rid of the massive consumption of gas, break the bonds between oil companies and automobile companies.
Just got an LTZ this week. The Nav is the best I've seen in any SUV and the I4 engine is superb! It's the same I4 GM's used for a few years now, and it's the best 4 on the market IMHO. The engine gets to running temp very fast, so cold mornings are very easy. And it's torquey like crazy. Amazing how super quiet this SUV is inside too, done I think by Bose like audio cancelling. The ride is awesome, a bit tight but corners like crazy. You really feel safe in this SUV!
Thats an awesome vehicle Jonnyfion. wow on the mpg. I calculated 200miles and divide by 4.5 gallons and determined your getting 44mpg. Thats better than a corolla. I try to get one.
Just got mine this weekend. Absolutely Love It!!! Great handling and a lot of pep for a 4 cyclinder. Sleek body style already has people asking me "what car is that". I drove over 200 miles already and I still only used a quarter of a tank of gas. Absolutely unreal. I test drove pretty much every cross over vehicle there is over the past few weeks and this was by far the most impressive vehicle based on look, mechanics, and fuel usuage. +The interior is awesome and has so much leg room. Get one!
Latest rating is 32 MPG for the 4 cyl. And, YES, you will get that milage. But, one nice thing about GM cars is that you can get the rated MPG, if not better, but you can also put your foot into the gas and get a nice result too. (kind of like the Caddy commercial where the lady said "when your turn your car on, does it return the favor?) Unlike most japanese high milage cars that are very lackluster on acceleration at all points. Of course MPG will suffer from this, but you have a choice.
You should know that the real average is 25 MPG for 50/50 (city/highway) driving for the 2.4 (transmission E6E). Which is more realistic. But yes, you can easily reach 30 MPG on highway and ECO mode.

Yeah if you ever see 30mpg in this thing, ever. Take a picture and frame it. If you get 25mpg in this bloated 3700lb vehicle in the real world you'll be lucky.
